A city is a large and permanent human settlement. Although there is no agreement on how a city is distinguished from a town in general English language meanings, many cities have a particular administrative, legal, or historical status based on local law.
Cities generally have complex systems for sanitation, utilities, land usage, housing, and transportation. The concentration of development greatly facilitates interaction between people and businesses, benefiting both parties in the process, but it also presents challenges to managing urban growth.
A big city or metropolis usually has associated suburbs and exurbs. Such cities are usually associated with metropolitan areas and urban areas, creating numerous business commuters traveling to urban centers for employment. Once a city expands far enough to reach another city, this region can be deemed a conurbation or megalopolis. In terms of population, the largest city proper is Shanghai, while the fastest-growing is Dubai.
There is not enough evidence to assert what conditions gave rise to the first cities. Some theorists have speculated on what they consider suitable pre-conditions and basic mechanisms that might have been important driving forces.

A Tale of Three Cites (Chinese: 三城记) is a 2015 Chinese-Hong Kong war romance film set in World War. The film is about a love story of two widowed people who fall in love each other and are forced to leave their children to escape to Hong Kong.
The Three Cities is a collective description of the three fortified cities of Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua in Malta. The oldest of the Three Cities is Birgu, which has existed since the Middle Ages. The other two cities, Senglea and Cospicua, were both founded by the Order of Saint John in the 16th and 17th centuries. The Three Cities are enclosed by the Cottonera Lines, along with several other fortifications. The term Cottonera is synonymous with the Three Cities, although it is sometimes taken to also include the nearby town of Kalkara.
Together, the Three Cities have a total population of 10,808 people as of March 2014.
Birgu has been settled since the time of the Phoenicians, but the current city dates back from the time of the Order of Saint John. Birgu was chosen as the capital city of Malta instead of Mdina upon the arrival of the Order in 1530. After the 1551 attack, Senglea was built on the peninsula known as L'Isola. In Birgu, Fort Saint Angelo was built on the site of the ancient Castrum Maris, and Fort Saint Michael was built on Senglea.

Located approximately 100 km southwest of Ankara, Gordion was continually inhabited for nearly 4000 years and is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Near East. Its heyday was in the first half of the first millennium BCE when it was the royal capital of the powerful Iron Age kingdom known as Phrygia to the Greeks and Mushki to the neighboring Assyrian empire. Gordion's fabled king Midas, in myth cursed with asses' ears and the "golden touch," was actually an historical figure, and the monumental burial mound (Tumulus MM) that bears his name was probably one of his first building projects. This talk presents an overview of the most recent fieldwork conducted under the auspices of the Penn Museum, including new discoveries with the "Midas Mound" and a new circuit of fortifi...
Coloured birds singing
September's on it's way
Wind is so kind and tender
And lulls me gently
Sun has already wished us
A wonderful goodnight
And my spirit is flying
Right over your head
Then suddenly, I move my sight
And in the same moment you turn
I'm looking at you
Mesmerized by your eyes
No way, time passing by
(I can't do this you will see me)
Time slowing down
She's coming by
Bringing along with her
Shadows of defiance
Thoughts turn to words
Words move on thoughts
Delicate synergies
Made of love and beauty
Minutes are days
Clocks stop their beats
And your soul
Drags me away from here
The pressure's overwhelming
An evil thought's arising
Bitch of soaring feelings
You should be aware of me
Now that we're sitting
And the universe's above
Stars seem to scan inside us
And let it be
Like we've dreamed of
When time stopped by us
And told us to feel the
Love, this is true
You're fading out
Clever performer of
Wonderful deceptions
Love, please be sure
I'll stare at the world
With new eyes
Whispering their anger
This was a tale and it's done
Ending is far over countries and seas
It has just begun to give a dream
