But some have got this rare feat in debut itself. Have a look at these TOP 10 celebrities who exploded into fame and stardom with their successful debut movies. 1. Hrithik Roshan Directed by dad Rakesh Roshan, the movie Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai made Hrithik a superstar in the year 2000. The only actor to win the Filmfare award for Best Debut and Best Actor for the same movie, Hrithik has delivered consistently over the last 13 years. His best performances have come in movies produced and directed by his dad. 2. Deepika Padukone Deepika started his career in audacious manner acting opposite King Khan in 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om. Deepika played dual roles in her first Bollywood release and won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. It grossed INR1.49 billion (US$25 million) worldwide and thus became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time at the time of its release. 3. Shahid Kapoor Shahid Kapoor began with commercials and music videos before he gave up on them to concentrate on a career in Bollywood. The 2003 movie Ishq Vishk launched Shahid on his merry way to Bollywood stardom and more hits. He won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance for this romantic comedy movie. 4. Asin Asin made her debut in the Bollywood film Ghajini opposite Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan with a big bang. This was the first Bollywood film to collect more than 1 billion in the domestic market, subsequently collected 1.9 billion (US$32 million) worldwide. Asin won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and many accolades for Ghajini. 5. Sunny Deol The action king of Bollywood started with a bang with the romantic thriller Betaab in the year 1983. With great music and a catchy story, Sunny delivered the biggest hit of the year with fellow debutant Amrita Singh. Some of Bollywood's biggest hits have been delivered by Sunny including Gadar:Ek Prem Katha and Border. 6. Bhagyashree Bhagyashree and her co-star Salman Khan delivered the romantic hit Maine Pyar Kiya that brought romance into an India that was opening up to the world. With Bollywood clamouring for her, she quit to marry her boyfriend Himalay. Such was her popularity that her husband was offered a lead role for three movies starring with her as she refused to entertain any other actor in a lead role. 7. Ajay Devgan Son of a stunt and action choreographer, Ajay Devgan balanced his way to stardom and Bollywood with the movie Phool Aur Kaante in 1991. This action/romance movie star began a career that has seen him deliver critically and commercially acclaimed movies since. Today Ajay also finds himself behind the screens producing and directing when he's not in front of the camera. 8. Sonakshi Sinha Sonakshi Sinha started his Bollywood journey with Dabangg, which was really a dabangg . Sonakshi was opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg, which became the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. She received positive reviews for her performance, as well as the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. 9. Vivek Oberoi Vivek Oberoi started his Bollywood career with a bang with his first movie Company. He won the 2002 Filmfare Best Debut Award and the Best Supporting Actor Award for his this movie.
