Very rarely is a completely new, and inventive way of art presented. Such is the case with Susan Marosz's refreshingly unique style.

Always possessing a talent in art, Ms. Marosz began creating custom murals for homes and commercial location. Over the years, her creativity and talent as an artist helped her create this unprecedented, intriguing version of art in glass.

By layering , and painting the glass, Susan has created artwork which can be totally transformed by the way it absorbs light. Using dichroic glass, which gives each piece it's changeable quality, the lights creates a richness and depth.

"In my method the design of each piece is described by both color and texture so the play of light on the finished glass adds additional beauty and dimension. I use a combination of clear and dichroic glass and it's the dichroic that gives my work the dramatic, somewhat changeable color," Ms. Marosz explained.

The procedure is time consuming and labor intensive, but the results are magnificent, one of a kind creations.

Noticeably influenced by her surroundings, her connection to the southern California coast is evident in her signature waves "Summit" ,which bring to life effervescent waves crashing toward the shore, waves in crest "Feathering Crest", and beautiful beach sunsets "Sunset".

Always expanding her knowledge of art, Susan has studied throughout Europe, with the influence evident in her pieces, "Verre Restaurant" depicting a French cafe , "Fleuriste" , which brings to life a French floral market, and "Monet's Lake" , Monet's iconic bridge.

Her work has been honored by "Newport Magazine Editor's Choice Award" Balboa Art Walk and "Favorite Glass Artist" Art A Fair Festival. Exhibited by Chemer's Gallery, Tustin, CA, Gallery 104, San Clemente, CA, Cirello Gallery, San Diego,CA, to name a few, her work can be found in private and commercial collections throughout the United States, Australia and Europe.
