iHeartMedia has announced plans for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour 2016. The annual Christmas-themed concert tour will be back this year, and the company has announced a first spate of performers: Charlie Puth, Fifth Harmony, Daya and Diplo.

Wednesday's press release didn't include specific concert dates or venues, but iHeartMedia did detail the list of markets that will be part of the tour. They are Dallas, San Francisco/San Jose, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.

It's worth noting that the document also says the announced artists will be performing "at select stops throughout the tour," implying that the lineup of artists will change depending on the venue -- so fans of the four revealed acts should make sure they'll be stopping in your area before buying tickets. A full roster of Jingle Ball 2016 artists will be available on Oct. 11.

How do you get tickets to join the festivities? Tickets for Jingle Ball 2016 will first go on sale to Capital One credit card holders on Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. local time, as Capital One will once again be the primary sponsor of the tour. The pre-sale runs from Oct. 13 to Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. local time and will be accessible here.

The remaining seats will then go on public on-sale beginning Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. local time through a separate online portal here.

Last year's Jingle Ball featured performances from acts like The Weeknd, Selena Gomez with Zedd, DNCE, Fetty Wap, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Fifth Harmony. You can look back on all the previous Jingle Ball highlights on the tour's website. Bringing Fifth Harmony back for another year suggests that Jingle Ball 2016 will be packed just as full of pop stars as its predecessor, which ought to make it a high-wattage alternative to traditional Christmas concert tours.

Fans will have to wait and see not only which artists join this year's tour but who's going to play which shows, because that will obviously impact audience interest if the act they're interested in happens not to be on the schedule in their city. But aside from that potential hurdle, Jingle Ball 2016 is set to continue its holiday tradition in style for at least one more year.
