It's a Kala KA-JTE tenor ukulele :)

It's really nice, albeit it took me forever to play it quietly enough to not shadow other uke players, it's really loud.

I used to do live shows with a small UV light shining from my pedalboard, it was extremely effective as a visual prop.

I started by buying 1 bass and several ukes (much cheaper, and don't need amps), then a couple of years ago I got 3 basses here and now the rest of them and the guitar and the keyboard. My amp should arrive next week :)

Exactly this. That's the first in time of many things that attracted me to the uke: if as a bass player I took a classical guitar in my hand I found mystelf playing it like a bass, this just doesn't happen with the uke. The traditional "musical roles" are almost opposite as well.

Thanks to this, I'm developing new skills on it and also I can sing while playing it, thing impossible on the bass for me.

Keep in mind, you'll never know what you and your group will enjoy until you play it, and that goes both ways: I'd never expected my group could enjoy a game about planting and selling beans, or about making a patchwork, until we tried them.

Not really, Shut Up & Sit Down is to blame for most of my purchases...

Played it, liked the idea, liked less the lack of player interaction to commit to it.

Cheers, I grew a bit tired of kallax pics.

I do the same, but we are just moving the setup time around, we aren't reducing it...

I mean, to each it's own. There's plenty of people that prefers it with respect to the games I love and that's fine. It personally fell flat for me but not nearly as much as other modern games I luckily don't own, like Smash Up, Machi Koro, CAH, or Fluxx just to say some. Others enjoy them and that's perfectly cool with me :-)

Well, I already slowed down quite a bit, I bought only about 5 games in the past 6 months :)

It's a great game, simple and somehow pure.

It helped that the whole core play group started buying them at around the same time, so we had a chance to play many during the initial exuberant phase!

Cook to know thanks!

Also, about Camel Up: the AP is not bad but even 2 minutes of it can become tedious with 7 or 8 players. This is a game best enjoyed with a frantic pace and people screaming typical camel names like "You Bastard" :-)

If you like short, mean games it's very well worth the price. If you don't like being mean to your friends it's not the game for you. If you don't like a setup time that is almost as much as the game get the app version.

Well yes, I'm not nearly as hardcore as other people here :)

I don't do kickstarter, so I'm waiting for Santorini to either come to normal distribution or on the used market, but I think it's great and I look forward to it. I've not seen Twixt yet but looks cool. On the abstract side I also wish to try and possibly get some GIPF games like YINSH or TZAAR but I had no chances with those yet.
