Team climbers, James Pearson and Caroline Ciavaldini return from a climbing safari of the South African Western Cape terrain, embarking on trad climbs all around the hidden treasures of the Rocklands area. Aside from seeking out some of the hardest trad lines in the world, James & Caroline were also delivering bouldering mats and equipment bought from money raised by their SPOT and Urban Uprising campaign, to the Rocklands Climbing School.

The Eiger is a 3,970 metres (13,020 feet) mountain of the Bernese Alps, forgeting Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen in the Bernese Oberland.
It is the easternmost peak of a ridge crest that extends throughout the Mönch to the Jungfrau at 4,158 m (13,642 feet), constituting among one of the most emblematic sights of the Swiss Alps. While the northern side of the mountain rises more than 3,000 m (10,000 ft) above the valleys of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, the southern side faces the large glaciers of the Jungfrau-Aletsch area, one of the most glaciated region in the Alps. One of the most significant function of the Eiger is its 1,800 m (5,900 feet) high north face, called Eigerwand or Nordwand, which is the most significant north face in the . [3]
The first ascent of the Eiger was made by Swiss guides Christian Almer and Peter Bohren and also Irishman Charles Barrington, who climbed the west flank on August 11, 1858. The north face, considered amongst the most tough as well as unsafe ascents, was first climbed in 1938 by an Austrian-German expedition. [4] Since 1935, at least sixty-four mountain climbers have actually passed away attempting the north face, earning it the German label Mordwand, actually "murder(ous) wall"-- a pun on its proper title of Nordwand (North Wall). [5]
From Kleine Scheidegg, near the base of the north face, a railway tunnel runs inside the Eiger, and 2 interior terminals give very easy access to viewing-windows in the mountainside. This Jungfraubahn rack railway terminates in the Jungfraujoch, in between the Mönch as well as the Jungfrau, at the highest railway station in Europe.

Υποστηρικτές ήταν το κοσμηματοπωλείο Dimos και οι ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες Hotel Du Lac Congress Center & Spa και Aristi Mountain Resort.

Οι συνδρομητές των αθλητικών καναλιών Novasports, είχαν τη δυνατότητα να δουν τους δρομείς των 80, 42, 21 και 10 χιλιομέτρων στον «τόπο πίσω από το βουνό», όπως αποκαλούν οι ντόπιοι το Ζαγόρι, και να απολαύσουν την αδρεναλίνη, τη συγκίνηση, την παράδοση και την περιπέτεια.
Ο αγώνας δεν θα μπορούσε να πραγματοποιηθεί, χωρίς την χορηγία των εταιρειών The North Face, Fifth Element και του φυσικού μεταλλικού νερού Ζαγόρι, ενώ η διοργάνωση τελέστηκε υπό την αιγίδα και με την υποστήριξη του Ελληνικού Οργανισμού Τουρισμού. Υποστηρικτές ήταν το κοσμηματοπωλείο Dimos και οι ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες Hotel Du Lac Congress Center & Spa και Aristi Mountain Resort.
Θεσμικοί υποστηρικτές ήταν η Περιφέρεια Ηπείρου, ο Δήμος Ζαγορίου, το Zagori Excellence Network (ΖΕΝ) και οι Πολιτιστικοί Σύλλογοι Τσεπελόβου "Ο Τσούφλης" και Κήπων Ζαγορίου "Η Μπάγια".
