Superbly acted and written psychological drama, adapted by Tom Stoppard from the novel by Thomas Wiseman and remastered in HD for the first time. Lewis Fielding (Michael Caine) is a successful novelist suffering from writer's block, who suspects that his wife Elizabeth (Glenda Jackson) must be having an affair whilst holidaying on her own in Europe. Frustrated with her husband's jealous attempts to manipulate her, Elizabeth decides to confirm Lewis's suspicions by embarking on a steamy affair with a handsome young German, Thomas (Helmut Berger), who claims to be a poet, but is in fact a drug dealer. Fact and fiction grow ever more entwined when, after Elizabeth's return to England, Lewis invites Thomas into his home to ask for his input on a new screenplay he is trying to write. But soon Thomas is not only Lewis's script-writing advisor, he is also an integral part of the unfolding plot...

She described the event as "Two Blondes" in a "Mexican-Hat" like craft. They also saw two humanoid figures with blond/golden hair staring down at them. She described them as very beautiful with beautiful faces.
Many believe this were "Pleiadians". Also known as Nordic aliens, are humanoid aliens that come from the stellar systems surrounding the Pleiades stars, and they're really really really concerned about Earth and our future.

Carliss seemingly is trying to frame Max for the murder. Max understands more when he learns who Carliss is. Despite the authorities being after him, Max does whatever he can both to clear his name and protect Carol, who he believes is in danger herself.

Many believe this were "Pleiadians". Also known as Nordic aliens, are humanoid aliens that come from the stellar systems surrounding the Pleiades stars, and they're really really really concerned about Earth and our future.

On Sunday, February 2, 2014, in front of the central station of Rotterdam, we find culture critic and philosopher Peter Sloterdijk in the lobby of the Manhattan hotel.
On this windy morning we travel through history.
We talk about the crisis of neoliberalism, Europe in the 20th century and the demise of the last Russian Tsar.
Sloterdijk speaks just as he writes, thoughtful, ejecting sentences on everything that looms as a question before him, connecting the sentences in intricate paragraphs that form a kind of analogous sentence-image of the world. Those in touch with Sloterdijk's metaphysics have pleasure on their side. Those who prefer readymade recipes for saving the world, are less well-catered for.

All my best advice on what to say at your job interview. I will tell you how to answer the most common job interview questions. I’ll give you the grammatical structures to use when answering questions about your work experience, and also share with you vocabulary and phrases that will impress your interviewer.
I recommend you prepare for your job interview by learning phrases you can repeat in your interview and also by practising your answers to these common questions. Get a friend to ask you the questions and make sure that you answer them in English! You can follow my advice about how to answer job interview questions whether you are looking for a job in an English-speaking country or you are being interviewed in English for a job in your home country. Hi, everyone. I'm Jade. What we're talking about today is job interview English. So, in this lesson, I'm going to give you some phrases that you can use in a job interview, and I'll also be giving you... We'll also be looking at what grammar you should be using to answer common job interview questions. So I'm going to break it down so you know what to expect when you have that job interview in English, maybe for the first time, or maybe you've already had a couple of interviews in English but you just want to improve your performance.
So let's start by talking about before the interview. So when you get there, there's always, like, that bit of small talk. Maybe you find it awkward, maybe you're a pro at small talk, but I thought I'd just give you some phrases so that you've got something to say, at least. So, when you get there, it's polite to say something like: "Thanks for inviting me to interview." If you feel like initiating small talk, you could say something like: "Is the position based in this office?" or "building", wherever you are. You might also want to say: "Oh, how many people work here?" Just sort of general things, nothing personal going on there.
Or you might make an observation about what you see about the building or the workplace. You could say: "The offices are impressive." Now, clearly, if the building isn't very nice, and there isn't anything remarkable about it, then I probably wouldn't say something like this. It's better to make no observation than say one that's not true, or one that sounds a bit strange because the place is a real dump. You don't want to say it's great in your phrase. But maybe the area's nice, so then you could say: "What a great location!" This is an exclamation. You say it with some kind of enthusiasm. Or you might say, as you're walking to the interview room: "Ah, I see you have an open plan office." That means where everybody works together in the same room. Or you might say: "I see you have a staff canteen." That's where you get your food. Okay? So, all suggestions for general small talk.
The interviewer may, however, initiate small talk with you, in which case, general things they like to talk about in England... Our... Our favourite topics of small talk are the weather, so you could say something like: "It's chilly today." That means it's a bit cold. Or mild. "Mild" is... "Mild" is when the weather is better than you would expect for that time of year. So if it's winter and it's mild, it's not as cold as you would expect it to be. Yep. So we love to talk about the weather, you know that about British people.
Did you also know we like to talk about the traffic or the tube delays and things like that? So, perhaps they'll say: "How was the traffic? How was your journey here?" You can tell them about your journey. Say: -"Oh, it wasn't bad." -"How was your journey?" -"Not bad." That means it was okay. Or you could say: "It didn't take me too long." It didn't take me too long. Now, just a tip: You don't want to say: "It was a nightmare; it took me hours", because they'll probably want to employ someone who can get to the job easily.

2. "What are your strengths?"
This is a popular interview question. They want to know what you think of yourself. Although this is a general question, there is a wrong and right answer. The wrong answer is a generic answer saying you are organized and friendly. Although it will not hurt you during the interview, it will certainly not help you either. Answer this question based on the type of job you are applying for.
3. "What are your weaknesses?"
For this answer, you should display a weakness that can be seen as a strength. There are many types of answers that will work. World boxing star Manny Pacquiao has drawn an outcry in the Philippines after publicly denouncing people in same-sex relationships as "worse than animals."
Pacquiao, a high school dropout from a poverty-stricken rural family who went on to become a boxing legend, made the remark when he and other Philippine senatorial candidates were asked by the local TV5 network about their views on same-sex marriage.
His remarks were posted online Monday by TV5, sparking criticism, including by some fellow Filipino celebrities.
"It's just common sense," said the 37-year-old Pacquiao, who is currently a member of the House of Representatives. "Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?"
Animals, he said, are better because they recognize gender differences, and "if you have male-to-male or female-to-female (relationships), then people are worse than animals."
Among those who strongly reacted to his remarks was popular gay comedian and TV host Jose Marie Viceral, known as Vice Ganda. Viceral tweeted Tuesday that lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders are humans, not animals. He said that they're not saints, but that they'll pray for Pacquiao.
Vice Ganda posted a picture of Pope Francis, suggesting that even the beloved leader of the Roman Catholic does not condemn gays. He quoted the pope: "If a person is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?"
Danton Remoto of the LGBT group Ladlad said Pacquiao's comments showed he had a shallow understanding of issues important to the LGBT community.
"He is running for a national position and he should be a senator of everybody, not just over the hill boxers and straight people," Remoto said in a telephone interview.
Pacquiao, who has become an active Christian, said in an Instagram posting that he was not condemning anyone, but was just expounding on the truth professed by the Bible.
I'd "rather obey the Lord's command than obeying the desires of the flesh," he said.
He posted a biblical phrase that says: "Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men."
"God Bless everyone," he said. "I love you all."

Hi, my name is Rebecca from www.engvid.com. In today's lesson, you will learn about 24 different words to talk about your working life. You'll need these words if you want to be able to talk about your career or about someone else's professional life. So let's get started.
I've divided the vocabulary into two parts. On this side, we'll see words which the applicant or the employee, the future employee is going to need; things that a person who is applying for a job or someone who works somewhere, these words apply to them. And the words on this side refer to things that the employer does, that the company does. Okay?
So let's start with what a person does when he's looking... He or she is looking for a job. So the first thing is to "look for a job". That could mean that you look at classified ads, you go online; you look for a job. Another way to say that is: "to seek employment", that's a formal way to say it. "To seek" means to look for, and "employment" means work or a job.
Next, you would probably "apply". After you see a position that interests you or a job that interests you, you would apply for that position, you would fill out perhaps an application form or send in a letter. And also "submit" which means to formally give in or send in, to submit your resume, to submit your CV. CV is curriculum vitae. In some places, they say: "CV", and in other places, they say: "resume". It's the same thing, but you need to apply and submit it. So these are the first three things that someone who's looking for a job or a job applicant is going to do.
Let's jump on to this side now to see what the employer does, and then later, we'll come back to a couple of other things which the person can do. Okay? So what does the employer usually do? After they have gone through the applications, they will invite some people for an "interview" and they will interview that person.
Next, they'll make a list which is... That process is called: "to shortlist". "To shortlist" means let's say that they interviewed 20 people and now they're going to choose about three people or five people, and from those five or three, they will choose one person finally because there's one position available. So when they take out of the 20, they make it three or five, that's called... That process is called shortlisting. They shortlist the candidates. So the first thing you can hope, after being interviewed, is that you will be shortlisted. And then, hopefully, you will also be chosen for the position.
So if that happens, the company decides to "hire" someone or to "recruit" a new employee, to recruit someone. Both words are used.
After that, if necessary, but not always, they may have to "train" that person to teach them how to do the job. At some later point in their career, it may be also necessary to "retrain" that person. "Re"-anything usually means to do something again.
Next, after the person has been hired and perhaps trained, the person will be "placed" in a particular department, in a branch, in a division, in a particular location. They will placed there means they will be put in that position.
Next, a variety of things can occur, can happen in the course of a person's career. A person could be "transferred". You see the arrow? Transfer means your position, the level of your position doesn't change necessarily, but you might be just moved. "To transfer" means to move to another branch, to another location, to another country, - right? - another department, another division. You are transferred.
Another thing that can happen if you're doing very well is you might be "promoted". Here we see the arrow pointing up. So, "to promote" means to get a higher level position. Usually, but not always, that includes a higher salary as well. Then you may be... That's referred to as a "raise", but it doesn't always happen. Sometimes you get a higher position without the extra money.

Legendary African rapper Modenine joined the Afrohits crew Mc Timmy, Adesope (shopsydoo) and Dj Yungmilli on Bang Radio London 103.6 Fm during his recent European trip. The multiple award winning lyricist who recently signed a deal with a German management outfit had a lot to say about the music scene particularly in Nigeria, "beef" between artistes and how he deals with it, being one of the first rappers to experiment with rapping in pidging English in Nigeria , his support for a kidney disease awareness campaign in Nigeria and lots more. Speaking candidly about some of his industry pairs, Modenine showered praise on the likes of Don Jazzy saying "he is the king of making a song a hit" . In criticising the bad writing skills of some Afrobeats artistes, he singled out the likes of Banky W and Sound Sultan for praise saying "Banky W has never written a bad song ever" others that got credit from the great one were the Choc Boyz, Wizkid, Burnaboy, Praiz and Davido. He also touched on the return of South African Hip Hop and his admiration for some of the stars in the south and he addressed recent rumours of rappers Reminisce, Phyno and Olamide throwing subliminal shots at him on their song "Local rappers" for the first time on camera . Rounding off the interview, Modenine answered the famous Afrohits 5 questions naming his current top three African rappers including his current favourite song.
