A creative interpretation of the well known pop song 'Forever Young' by Alphaville exploring the themes of Spiritual blindness and yearning for Eternity.
Characters
Luc (Declan McKee): is a youthful celestial being who looks down on Earth and is deeply saddened by the bitterness of mortality. He comes with a gift of iridescent diamonds which make the owner Forever Young

Interpretation
There is something hugely powerful about a secular song that expresses a deep longing to 'live forever'. It reminds is that we were created for Eternity.
Many people use the darkness in the world as their strongest proof that an all powerful God cannot be goodness and light. But rather, the darkness in the world and how wrong it feels should point us to the light beyond it. From almost the beginning of time the ancient lie has been told 'you will not certainly die' (Genesis 3:4). People live in denial that everything they around them will pass away.
In truth, many people are more afraid of growing old than they are of dying. They are afraid that they will finally have to accept that everything they know and love must pass away and their existence will mean nothing.
But what if... what if there was a diamond that, when given and accepted, meant that you could live forever. And not just living to survive, but living a life full of adventures to challenge, songs to sing and dreams to come true: living 'forever young'. Everyone is seeking it, Jesus offers it, and it is just as easy to accept as being handed a diamond.

Coordinates: 55°11′53″N 6°38′06″W / 55.198°N 6.635°W / 55.198; -6.635 Lush! is a night club in Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Located in the Kellys Golf Links Hotel, the club is the largest in the complex, which houses a number of bars. Opened in 1996, it has played host to the majority of the worlds notable electronic dance music DJs, including Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Fat Boy Slim and Eddie Halliwell.
Opening two nights a week (Saturday mainly for clubbers from all over Ireland and Wednesday for local University of Ulster students), the venue does not use external promoters or host club nights, being a self-contained operation. The promoter, and manager of the club, Col Hamilton, is also the resident DJ. Music on resident-played nights would generally be house music, but the regular guest DJs are more likely to play trance music.
Shortly after opening, CJ Agnelli of Agnelli & Nelson immortalised the club with one of his first releases, titled "Lush", and the later remixes, "Lush Gold". The cover art of both releases featured the clubs logo, a large yellow/orange circle. An edition of Discover Records "Live As" series has also been recorded at the venue.

There is something hugely powerful about a secular song that expresses a deep longing to 'live forever'. It reminds is that we were created for Eternity.
Many people use the darkness in the world as their strongest proof that an all powerful God cannot be goodness and light. But rather, the darkness in the world and how wrong it feels should point us to the light beyond it. From almost the beginning of time the ancient lie has been told 'you will not certainly die' (Genesis 3:4). People live in denial that everything they around them will pass away.
In truth, many people are more afraid of growing old than they are of dying. They are afraid that they will finally have to accept that everything they know and love must pass away and their existence will mean nothing.
But what if... what if there was a diamond that, when given and accepted, meant that you could live forever. And not just living to survive, but living a life full of adventures to challenge, songs to sing and dreams to come true: living 'forever young'. Everyone is seeking it, Jesus offers it, and it is just as easy to accept as being handed a diamond.
