He has two years of experience in teaching Turkish to British students. Because he lives in Nicosia, North Cyprus he speaks the Cypriot dialect of Turkish language. However, he also knows very well the formal Turkish of Turkey, which is a compulsory lesson at schools in North Cyprus. In this video he is teaching formal Turkish... Ahmet is actually a computer engineer who now works as an ICT teacher at a state secondary school in North Cyprus. He also has experience in teaching physics, acoustics, mathematics and music. And he is the co-author of 2 ICT text books and editor of 2 maths textbooks, all of which are currently used in secondary schools of North Cyprus... Ahmet's two most favourite hobbies are folklore and languages. He learned some Slovak by himself. He knows also very limited amount of Croatian, Romanian and Spanish, and is nowadays trying to learn some Hungarian. He also tries not to forget his German, that he learned at secondary school... This is Ahmet's second video lesson about Turkish language. He plans to prepare more later, but does not really know when that will happen because nowadays he is very busy with some other activities.
