Police have said Mr Marrogi got out of his car and shot Mr Ors in the leg, thigh and buttocks as he sat at a bus stop outside Campbellfield Plaza with two other males about 3.40pm on Monday. Mr Ors was taken to hospital but died that night.

Mr Marrogi declined to be brought into the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday for a filing hearing before magistrate Duncan Reynolds.

The court heard that prosecutors would collect CCTV footage of the alleged attack.

Mr Marrogi is next expected to appear in court for a committal mention on January 31.
