iLuminate to hold global launch in Riyadh

RIYADH: iLuminate, the live show, is ready for the global launch of their visual feast in Riyadh.
The worldwide visual hit specializing in the field of entertainment technology that combines state-of-the art technology with electrifying entertainers who perform in the dark to create the ultimate performing art experience, has come from New York for the first time to perform the Kingdom.
The show will begin in Riyadh at the conference hall of the Princess Nourah University, starting on Sept. 28, and will continue until Oct. 8, and then will move on to the Red Sea city of Jeddah, where it will be held at the King Abdullah Sports City from Oct. 12-22, M.O. Al-Sayeed, from Katch international, an organizer here, said on Tuesday.
This type of visual presentation is directed at children, families and youths by combining the latest technology and the best talents to create an exceptional experience in the field of performing arts, he added.
The show wowed audiences in the US with their groundbreaking light suits and innovative moves on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” where the dance-in-the-dark LED sensation was selected as one of the hit show’s top finalists after judge Piers Morgan called them “The Best New Act in America.”
He announced that tickets are available online via www.ticketmasterksa.com as well as at the performance venues and the category-wise prices are — SR900 (VIP), SR550 (A), SR350 (B), SR250 (C), SR 50 (D), SR50 (E).
Entertainment and culture forms an important part of Vision 2030 which asserts that the two aspects represent the main pillars of a quality life, and the government pledges to provide rich experiences and reach to citizen’s expectations for a quality life in the Kingdom.
As entertainment opportunities are limited in the Kingdom, especially during the summer vacation, Vision 2030 pledged new cultural venues, entertainment partnerships, tourist attractions and athletic clubs, hoping they will invigorate the private sector and inspire citizens to lead healthier lifestyles.
The world’s largest amusement park corporation Six Flags also announced it will open up investments in the Kingdom following a meeting between the deputy crown prince and its CEO John M. Duffey.
