Jack and Kay Chambers are thrilled when the residents of Hadleigh Corner welcome them to their new home with open arms. But then the neighbours invite them to share their beds too. When Jack and Kay Chambers leave their city apartment for an exclusive housing estate, they hope to save their ailing marriage. Hadleigh Corner is the rural idyll of their dreams and the newly built house is the perfect symbol of their fresh start.
At first, all is rosy. The villagers are warm and welcoming and the party invitations are flowing. Even their children seem more settled. But as Jack and Kay try to rebuild their relationship, they discover their new neighbours are anything but normal. What starts as a cosy dinner party suddenly turns into a night of adult party games with absolutely no limits. What's more, the perfectly polished and manicured estate hides a terrible deathly secret. As the truth about Hadleigh Corner is revealed, Jack and Kay are torn apart and caught up in a nightmare, which will change their lives forever.

Lynn Shelton (born 1965) is an American director known for writing, directing, and producing such films as Humpday and Your Sister's Sister.
Shelton grew up in Seattle. She describes herself as having been audacious as a young girl, but having lost confidence in her creativity in adolescence. This experience contributed to a theme she explored in her 2005 film We Go Way Back.
After high school, Shelton attended Oberlin College in Ohio and then the University of Washington School of Drama. She then moved to New York and followed the Master's of Fine Arts program in photography and related media at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Her thesis advisor was Peggy Ahwesh.
She started working in the film industry as a film editor and made a series of experimental short films which have been described as "accomplished" and providing the basis for the "subtle, almost anthropological scrutiny" brought to bear in her later works.
Among the jobs she has held to support her film career, one of them was working aboard a fishing trawler in the Bering Sea.
Joshua Granville Leonard (born June 17, 1975) is an American actor, writer and director, known primarily for his role in The Blair Witch Project (1999). He has since starred in films such as Higher Ground (2011), If I Stay (2014), and The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014).
Leonard was born in Houston, Texas, the son of Joann, an author, and Robert Leonard, a theater professor. He was raised in central Pennsylvania. When he was six, he was convinced by his father to appear in plays like Life With Father. However, when he reached his teens, he decided he did not want to act. He pushed to obtain his GED at age 16 and underwent survival training with Outward Bound as preparation for a year and a half stay in Mexico where he volunteered with a youth services organization. Leonard returned to the United States and spent a year at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He then left school again, and decided to head to Manhattan and try his luck as a filmmaker and photographer. Leonard learned his trade on the job, working as a darkroom tech at The New School for Social Research, and in the equipment room at the New York Film Academy.
