Nissan Murano is a mid-size crossover, which was originally launched in 2002. During this period, we have seen three generations of it. The original model was produced between 2002 and 2007, while second generation was available between 2007 and 2014. Last year, new model finally came. The third-generation model came as 2015 year model and although it is still very fresh, company already works on some modifications, which should be ready for mid-cycle refresh. These changes include several exterior and interior updates but also some mechanical changes. This refreshed model is expected to come as 2017 Nissan Murano.

2017 Nissan Murano engine
When it is about standard version, 2017 Nissan Murano will come pretty much unchanged. It will be powered by the same 3.5 liter V6 that is good for 260 hp. Beside standard version, we expect to see hybrid model in near future also. This model is powered by configuration which is consisted of 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine and 15kW electric motor and total output is around 250 horsepower. Both options will use the same, new 6-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
2017 Nissan Murano release date and price
The 2017 Nissan Murano is expected to come next year. Price shouldn’t be much different, so it will go probably between 35.000 and 42.000 dollars.

Murano is famous for its glass making. Murano's reputation as a center for glass making was born when the Venetian Republic, fearing fire and the destruction of the city's mostly wooden buildings, ordered glassmakers to move their foundries to Murano in 1291. Murano glass is still associated with Venetian glass.
The process of making Murano glass is rather complex. The glass is made from silica, which becomes liquid at high temperatures. As the glass passes from a liquid to a solid state, there is an interval when the glass is soft before it hardens completely. This is when the glass-master can shape the material.

Murano
Murano is a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian Lagoon, northern Italy. It lies about 1.5 kilometres (0.9 miles) north of Venice and measures about 1.5 km (0.9 mi) across with a population of just over 5,000 (2004 figures). It is famous for its glass making. It was once an independent comune, but is now a frazione of the comune of Venice.
Location
Murano is composed of seven islands, linked by bridges, separated by eight channels.
History
Murano was initially settled by the Romans and from the sixth century by people from Altinum and Oderzo. At first, the island prospered as a fishing port and through its production of salt. It was also a centre for trade through the port it controlled on Sant'Erasmo. From the eleventh century, it began to decline as islanders moved to Dorsoduro. It had a Grand Council, like that of Venice, but from the thirteenth century, Murano was ultimately governed by a podestà from Venice. Unlike the other islands in the Lagoon, Murano minted its own coins.

The process of making Murano glass is rather complex. The glass is made from silica, which becomes liquid at high temperatures. As the glass passes from a liquid to a solid state, there is an interval when the glass is soft before it hardens completely. This is when the glass-master can shape the material.

Let us take a boat trip to the island of lagoons, to the Lido, to Murano, which is famous of its glass makers and to the colorful Burano.

I had the chance to finally visit Venice, Italy a place that I've somehow never had the chance to visit or photograph. Burnano in particular is absolutely stunning and made for some cool photos. Venice was brilliant, and definitely a city I'd love to get back to. In general, I'm totally falling for Italy as a photographer.
