There goes Donald Trump, running his crazy mouth again. He's under fire for suggesting that "second amendment people" might stop Hillary Clinton's Supreme Court from further diminishing American gun rights. The New York Daily News called for Trump to drop out of the race. Joe Scarborough said the GOP "must dump Trump" before "something terrible happens". Dan Rather said “By any objective analysis, this is a new low and unprecedented in the history of American presidential politics,” Rather wrote. “This is no longer about policy, civility, decency or even temperament. This is a direct threat of violence against a political rival.” Trump meanwhile insists that the comment only points to the strength of the political power of the gun rights community. That they could win this election, or restore their rights through a future election. He steadfastly denies he was advocating the assassination of Hillary Clinton or the overthrow of the United States government. That's pretty upsetting because the implication that Americans would violently overthrow a government that tried to disarm them seems uncontroversial to me. America's founding documents and early history are full of revolutionary war propaganda explaining the duty, propriety, and desirability of violently overthrowing a government. From the Declaration of Independence to the once private correspondences of Thomas Jefferson, it was made clear how to grow and refresh the tree of liberty. Hillary Clinton is a corrupt, law breaking liar, who has brought as much death, destruction, and misery to the world as nearly any other political figure throughout history. Her nomination as the Democratic party candidate for President is prima facie evidence that the Democratic party hasn't a shred of integrity left in its ranks. She thrives on the ignorance, contempt, and sloth of America's lower classes, and the corruption, greed, and malice of the elites. If the purpose of the Second Amendment is not to stop President Hillary Clinton, then the Second Amendment has no purpose. In other news, Bernie Sanders bought a $600,000 waterfront property.
