The China Seas consist of a series of marginal seas in the Western Pacific Ocean, around China. They are the major components signifying the transition from the continent of Asia to the Pacific Ocean. They have been described in terms of their collective vastness and complexity:
Seas included in the China Seas are:
China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a sovereign state in East Asia. It is the world's most populous country, with a population of over 1.35 billion. The PRC is a one-party state governed by the Communist Party, with its seat of government in the capital city of Beijing. It exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces; five autonomous regions; four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing); two mostly self-governing special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau); and claims sovereignty over Taiwan.
Covering approximately 9.6 million square kilometers, China is the world's second-largest country by land area, and either the third or fourth-largest by total area, depending on the method of measurement. China's landscape is vast and diverse, ranging from forest steppes and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts in the arid north to subtropical forests in the wetter south. The Himalaya, Karakoram, Pamir and Tian Shan mountain ranges separate China from South and Central Asia. The Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the third- and sixth-longest in the world, run from the Tibetan Plateau to the densely populated eastern seaboard. China's coastline along the Pacific Ocean is 14,500 kilometres (9,000 mi) long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.

The East China Sea is a marginal sea east of China. The East China Sea is a part of the Pacific Ocean and covers an area of roughly 1,249,000 square kilometres (482,000 sq mi). To the east lies the Japanese islands of Kyushu and the Ryukyu Islands, to the south lies the South China Sea, and to the west by the Asian continent. The sea connects with the Sea of Japan through the Korea Strait and opens to the north into the Yellow Sea. The sovereign states which border the sea include South Korea, Japan, the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the People's Republic of China. In the nineteenth century, the sea was known as Mer de Corée (Sea of Korea).

TOKYO — Japan on Tuesday called on China to halt the construction of oil and gas exploration platforms in a disputed area of the East China Sea. The claims were made in as part of a Defence White Paper approved by the Japanese Cabinet on Tuesday. The disputed areas lies southeast of Shanghai and Japanese officials said that there are 16 Chinese platforms close to Japan's side of the sea, with 12 of those platforms being built since June 2013. Japan has long expressed concern that platforms close to the maritime border could be used to extract resources from the Japanese side of the line. Tokyo is also worried that the platforms could be used as radar stations to monitor air and sea activity in the region, which is close to the disputed Senkaku, or Diaoyu Islands claimed by both countri...
China has demanded an immediate end to the US reconnaissance flights in "Chinese airspace". Beijing says such flights endanger its maritime security. The comments were made after American military officials said two Chinese fighter jets intercepted a US spy plane over the East China Sea. The incident happened amid high-level China-U.S. talks in Beijing. China and several regional countries seeking control of trade routes are locked in dispute over the South China Sea. The territorial dispute has become a source of tension between Beijing and Washington. Beijing accuses Washington of meddling in regional issues and militarizing the South China Sea. Chinese and Japanese Fighters Clash Over East China Sea - by Sam LaGrone Beijing claims a pair of Japanese fighters locked weapons radar on their planes over the East China Sea, while Tokyo denies the accusation. During the June 17 incident, Chinese defense officials said two Japanese Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) Mitsubishi F-15J Eagles intercepted two Chinese Sukhoi Su-30 fighters over the East China Sea in the Beijing declared Air Defense Identification Zone near the Japanese-controlled Senkaku Islands. https://news.usni.org/2016/07/05/chinese-japanese-fighters-clash-east-china-sea Disclaimer: This YouTube channel is in no way endorsed by or affiliated with the author of this article or the U.S. Naval Institute. The Chinese Navy has recently conducted a live-ammunition anti-torpedo drill in the East China Sea. Divided into Red and Blue groups, sailors within the East China Sea Fleet started the drill in the morning, with Blue Camp deploying torpedoes and the Red Camp conducting minesweeping operations along the designated routes. "During the anti-torpedo drill this time, we engaged in the launching of several types of warships to prevent enemies from deploying torpedoes, assigning teams to conduct minesweeping along the routes, and organizing a single naval vessel to hide key warships when passing torpedo-threatened areas. Through this drill, we have discovered new methods of operation in minesweeping, synchronized team minesweeping, and elevated the integrated combat capabilities of anti-torped...

According to Reuters, in a speech at the Center for International Studies and Strategies in Washington, Ms. Inada said that recent actions by China to pursue claims in the South China Sea and East China has raised deep concerns in the Asia - Pacific region and the world. According to Ms. Inada, if the world forgive the attempt to change the law and allow the state to bend the law, the consequences will be on a global scale. "In this regard, I strongly support the campaign of freedom of navigation in the US Navy, an action is performed long to maintain international maritime order based on the provisions of the law" - Inada she stated and affirmed the determination of the government in protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country, while maintaining and strengthening...
So the world is slowly, or perhaps not so slowly, moving into the Masonic "Order out of Chaos" with chaos at this point becoming a global operation., The nations are getting restless, the heavens and the Earth are changing, people are losing it, and as Gerald Celente says, "when you have nothing to lose, people lose it". We are on the verge of the most mysterious and sinister election in U.S. history, ruler against ruler, borders wide open, and a fifth column operation almost complete. So when will the plug upon America be pulled? Economic collapse, war in the Middle East, China Seas, North Korea Nukes, The Kill Shot and Earth expansion. Are we really in the LAST DAYS? And much much more in this wide ranging discussion of a world going mad... Read more: http://the-portal.proboards.com/thr...

So far, much of the discussion of China's air-defense identification zone (ADIZ), a new law requiring foreign aircraft to notify China when they fly over a designated region in the East China Sea, has centered on Beijing's motivations: What is China trying to accomplish by instituting the zone? And, considering that it triggered immediate opposition from the United States and Japan, was this decision a mistake? These are important questions, but it's worth zooming out and considering the more fundamental causes for tension in Northeast Asia. Here, the issues become more complex. Is China's aggression caused by a new president trying to establish his legitimacy? Or is it, instead, an attempt to capitalize on domestic anti-Japanese sentiment? Does the conflict reflect how pre-World War II hi...
China commissioned its latest guided missile destroyer, the Jinan 052C, the semi-official China Military Online reported. The Jinan was commissioned at a naval port in eastern China. From there, the vessel will join the East China Sea Fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). Part of a new generation of guided missile destroyers, the Jinan will help the PLAN to expand its ability to operate in the open ocean away from China's coasts. This could allow China to further press its territorial ambitions throughout the Pacific and the South China Sea, and to use its navy as a counterweight to US influence in the region. "The guided missile destroyer Ji'nan (hull number 152), is equipped with multiple sets of home-made new-type weapons," China Military Online reports. "It is a...

In the wake of ongoing disputes over the Senkaku/Diaoyu islands China has brushed aside calls from Japan to hold a leaders' summit as "grandstanding," while Japan's finance minister is prompting Tokyo to make clear its intention to use the navy to defend the islands. What are China's objectives and overall strategy in the East China Sea? To what extent will Chinese actions contribute to escalation and what are the prospects of conflict breaking out in the region?

So what are China's next strategy moves in the Asia-Pacific Region? What does the PLA really think about the U.S. military and its capabilities? --a bizarre perception that encourages them to push now. China has now been successful at establishing its Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) in the East China Sea. In the process, we have seen a bizarre, almost schizophrenic, series of contradictory communications on the subject coming out of Washington that have enhanced China's successful roll-out. Following the roll-out, we witnessed a near collision by U.S. and Chinese naval ships in the East China Sea along with the departure of China's lone aircraft carrier (sans aircraft) for the South China Sea for a "show the flag" cruise. So what are China's next strategy moves in the Asia-Pacific...
