Starting with "LEAV" then crossing it out, the vandal goes on to write "EAEVRS 0216."
Posted to the Facebook group PERTH - Have A Whinge, the image has divided online opinion, with some arguing it's a joke with others saying it's a clear failure.
"I think there's a bit of tongue in cheek humour to this one. It's pretty clever if you ask me," one user wrote.
"Seriously though, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to blame autocorrect," said another.
Either way, it's probably best to restrict scribbles to textbooks.
