( I.S.A.) 2) The corporation is a corporation as defined in subparagraph (a)(5)of Article 102 (Definitions) of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law. 3) Purpose or Purposes for which the Corporation is Formed are as Follows: a) To Promote, by Establishment, Demonstration, or Otherwise, the Undertaking of International Civil Space: Exploration, Exploitation, Programs, Projects, and Missions in the Private, Quasi-Public, and Public Sectors to the Benefit of its Member: Governments, Countries, Organizations, and Persons “Firstly”; and “In General” to the Peoples of the World Community; and for Exclusively Peaceful Purposes; b) To Foster Research on International Civil Space: Exploration, Exploitation, Science, Programs, Projects, and Missions, and Related Fields; c) To Promote the Exchange of Ideas, and to Disseminate Information on International Civil Space: Exploration, Exploitation, Science, Programs, Projects, and Missions, for the Use of all Types of Governmental, Non-Governmental, and Private: Entities, Organizations, Institutes, Professional Persons, and Public Generally; d) In Order to Achieve the Aforementioned Purpose, the Corporation shall have the following Powers: i) To Plan, Develop, Propose, Promote, Organize, Implement, and Operate: Organization International: Headquarters, Commands, Operations and Research Complexes and Centers; International Space Academy and International Personnel Training Center; International Civil Space: Facilities, Bases, Stations, Spacecraft, Programs, Commissions, Committees, Projects, and Missions; Space Regulation Commission, S.R.C.; Space Planning Commission, S.P.C.; International Supercomputer Center “Facility”, Data Base, and Internet Information Services; and International Space: News, Media, and Educational Information Services. ii) To Solicit, Collect, Accept, and Otherwise by Bequest, Devise, Gift, Grant, Purpose, or Otherwise, Property of Any Sort, Without Limitation to Amount, Kind, or Value, and to Use, Disperse, or Donate the Income, or Principal, Thereof Exclusively for the Purposes Hereinbefore Stated; iii) To Receive Assistance from Government, Non-Government, and Private: Entities, Organizations, Persons; iv) The Corporation shall have the Power to do any other Act or Thing Incidental To or Connected With the Aforesaid Purposes or in Advancement Thereof, Provided, However, the Corporation shall Engage in No Activity for which the Consent or Approval of a Duly Authorized State or Local Agency is Required without having first Obtained said Consent or Approval. v) The Corporation shall not have the power to issue certificates of stock or to declare or pay dividends and shall be operated exclusively for the purposes enumerated in this section.
