The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is the agency of the United States government that is responsible for the nation's civilian space program and for aeronautics and aerospace research. Since February 2006, NASA's mission statement has been to "pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research." On September 14, 2011, NASA announced that it had selected the design of a new Space Launch System that it said would take the agency's astronauts farther into space than ever before and provide the cornerstone for future human space exploration efforts by the U.S.
NASA was established by the National Aeronautics and Space Act on July 29, 1958, replacing its predecessor, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA). The agency became operational on October 1, 1958. U.S. space exploration efforts have since been led by NASA, including the Apollo moon-landing missions, the Skylab space station, and later the Space Shuttle. Currently, NASA is supporting the International Space Station and is overseeing the development of the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and Commercial Crew vehicles. The agency is also responsible for the Launch Services Program (LSP) which provides oversight of launch operations and countdown management for unmanned NASA launches.

Insha'Allah (Arabic: إن شاء الله, [in ʃæʔ ʔɑlˤˈlˤɑːh]) is an Arabic term to indicate hope for an aforementioned event to occur in the future. The phrase translates into English as "God willing" or "If it is God's will", sometimes spoken as DV, the Latin abbreviation for Deo volente or simply "God willing".
One's use of Insha Allāh indicates not one's desire to succeed in an endeavor, but rather that the endeavor one embarks on will be within God's will, which might be interpreted as that which is best for Humanity, the Earth, and all of Allah's creation. It indicates one's desire for being in tune with God's plan for the Kosmos. For example, if one's submission to God's will might be accomplished with great difficulty, one invokes God's blessing, and even more the fact it is in tune with God's will as the primary focus before one attempts to achieve it, otherwise one wishes their endeavor to fail. It is commonly used by Muslims, but is also common in Christian groups in the Middle East, like the Coptic Orthodox Church. Insha Allāh is said when speaking about plans and events expected to occur in the future. The phrase also acknowledges submission to God, with the speaker putting him or herself into God's hands, and accepting the fact that God sometimes works in unexpected ways.

Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) is a planned space exploration mission to send a space probe to orbit Mars and study its atmosphere. It will help determine what caused the Martian atmosphere —and water— to be lost to space, making the climate increasingly inhospitable for life.
Program overview
The mission was spawned by NASA's Mars Scout Program, which although discontinued in 2010, yielded Phoenix and MAVEN, as well as numerous missions studies. Mars Scout missions target a cost less than USD$485 million, not including launch service, which is approximately $187 million.
On September 15, 2008 NASA announced that it had selected MAVEN to be the Mars Scout 2013 mission, a part of the Mars Scout Program. There was one other finalist and eight other proposals that were competing against MAVEN to be the Mars Scout 2013 mission.
NASA will launch MAVEN in late 2013 using an Atlas V 401 rocket. The launch window is between November 18, 2013 and December 7, 2013. Assuming a November 18 launch, MAVEN will be inserted on September 22, 2014 into an elliptic orbit 6,200 km (3,900 mi) by 150 km (93 mi) above the planet's surface. The principal investigator for MAVEN is Bruce Jakosky of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Objectives
Features on Mars resembling dry riverbeds, and the discovery of minerals that form in the presence of water, indicate that Mars once had a thicker atmosphere and was warm enough for liquid water to flow on the surface. However, that thick atmosphere was somehow lost to space. Scientists suspect that, over millions of years, Mars lost 99% of its atmosphere as the planet's core cooled and its magnetic field decayed, allowing solar winds to sweep away most of the water and volatile compounds the atmosphere once contained.
The goal of MAVEN is to determine the history of the loss of atmospheric gases to space through time, providing answers about Mars climate evolution. By measuring the current rate of escape to space and gathering enough information about the relevant processes, scientists will be able to infer how the planet's atmosphere evolved in time.

Science at the Frontier
Our solar system contains three zones: the inner, rocky planets; the gas giant planets; and the Kuiper Belt. Pluto is one of the largest bodies of the icy, "third zone" of our solar system. The National Academy of Sciences placed the exploration of the third zone in general - and Pluto-Charon in particular - among its highest priority planetary mission rankings for this decade. New Horizons is NASA's mission to fulfill this objective.
In those zones, our solar system has three classes of planets: the rocky worlds (Earth, Venus, Mercury and Mars); the gas giants (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune); and the ice dwarfs of the Kuiper Belt. Mission Overview: Why Go to Pluto ? Planetary exploration is a historic endeavor and a major focus of NASA. New Horizons is designed to help us understand worlds at the edge of our solar system by making the first reconnaissance of Pluto and Charon - a "double planet" and the last planet in our solar system to be visited by spacecraft. Then, as part of an extended mission, New Horizons would visit one or more objects in the Kuiper Belt region beyond Neptune.
Science at the Frontier
Our solar system contains three zones: the inner, rocky planets; the gas giant planets; and the Kuiper Belt. Pluto is one of the largest bodies of the icy, "third zone" of our solar system. The National Academy of Sciences placed the exploration of the third zone in general - and Pluto-Charon in particular - among its highest priority planetary mission rankings for this decade. New Horizons is NASA's mission to fulfill this objective.

Hidden Portals in Earth's Magnetic Field

A NASA-sponsored researcher at the University of Iowa has developed a way for spacecraft to hunt down hidden magnetic portals in the vicinity of Earth. A favorite theme of science fiction is "the portal"--an extraordinary opening in space or time that connects travelers to distant realms. A good portal is a shortcut, a guide, a door into the unknown. If only they actually existed....
It turns out that they do, sort of, and a NASA-funded researcher at the University of Iowa has figured out how to find them.
"We call them X-points or electron diffusion regions," explains plasma physicist Jack Scudder of the University of Iowa. "They're places where the magnetic field of Earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun, creating an uninterrupted path leading from our own planet to the sun's atmosphere 93 million miles away."
Observations by NASA's THEMIS spacecraft and Europe's Cluster probes suggest that these magnetic portals open and close dozens of times each day. They're typically located a few tens of thousands of kilometers from Earth where the geomagnetic field meets the onrushing solar wind. Most portals are small and short-lived; others are yawning, vast, and sustained. Tons of energetic particles can flow through the openings, heating Earth's upper atmosphere, sparking geomagnetic storms, and igniting bright polar auroras.
NASA is planning a mission called "MMS," short for Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission, due to launch in 2014, to study the phenomenon. Bristling with energetic particle detectors and magnetic sensors, the four spacecraft of MMS will spread out in Earth's magnetosphere and surround the portals to observe how they work.
Just one problem: Finding them. Magnetic portals are invisible, unstable, and elusive. They open and close without warning "and there are no signposts to guide us in," notes Scudder.
Actually, there are signposts, and Scudder has found them.
Portals form via the process of magnetic reconnection. Mingling lines of magnetic force from the sun and Earth criss-cross and join to create the openings. "X-points" are where the criss-cross takes place. The sudden joining of magnetic fields can propel jets of charged particles from the X-point, creating an "electron diffusion region."
To learn how to pinpoint these events, Scudder looked at data from a space probe that orbited Earth more than 10 years ago.
"In the late 1990s, NASA's Polar spacecraft spent years in Earth's magnetosphere," explains Scudder, "and it encountered many X-points during its mission."
Data from NASA's Polar spacecraft, circa 1998, provided crucial clues to finding magnetic X-points.Credit: NASA Because Polar carried sensors similar to those of MMS, Scudder decided to see how an X-point looked to Polar. "Using Polar data, we have found five simple combinations of magnetic field and energetic particle measurements that tell us when we've come across an X-point or an electron diffusion region. A single spacecraft, properly instrumented, can make these measurements."
This means that single member of the MMS constellation using the diagnostics can find a portal and alert other members of the constellation. Mission planners long thought that MMS might have to spend a year or so learning to find portals before it could study them. Scudder's work short cuts the process, allowing MMS to get to work without delay.
It's a shortcut worthy of the best portals of fiction, only this time the portals are real. And with the new "signposts" we know how to find them.

According to SpaceWorks’ study on cryogenic sleep, which borrowed ideas from doctors, a human body can be forced into a state of hibernation by simply lowering the body temperature to 93 degrees Fahrenheit. The lowered body temperature causes the body’s heart rate and metabolism to decrease, effectively placing it in a state of unconsciousness.
The body will subsist on intravenous feeding tubes that pump the necessary lipids, amino acids and various nutrients into the body. Other tubes will drain urine as well as monitor the body.
According to mockups, a torpor-statis habitat can hold six astronauts at once and robotic arms will ensure everyone’s basic needs are met. In their study, SpaceWorks says that they imagine the crew would wake up in a staggered pattern so that at least one person is awake at all times.
So far humans are only able to maintain stasis for two weeks, although the trip from Earth to Mars is expected to take up to nine months.
NASA has declined to fund the second stage of the research though and SpaceWorks, citing its potential therapeutic benefits, is now looking into using the technology here on Earth.

The sun emitted a significant solar flare, peaking at 6:11 pm EDT on May 5, 2015. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, which watches the sun constantly, captured an image of the event. Solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation. Harmful radiation from a flare cannot pass through Earth's atmosphere to physically affect humans on the ground, however -- when intense enough -- they can disturb the atmosphere in the layer where GPS and communications signals travel.
This flare is classified as an X2.7-class flare. X-class denotes the most intense flares, while the number provides more information about its strength. An X2 is twice as intense as an X1, an X3 is three times as intense, etc.

As for the misconceptions:
(1) Arabic grammar is indeed "complex", but let's be real: everything about the human existence is complex. Life is complex. Think about driving a car and our daily responses to an infinite number of possible occurrences on the road. Because we are so FAMILIAR with driving, much of the required thinking is automated or "reflexive". Complexity is not synonymous with difficulty. Why can't Arabic grammar come as naturally as driving does? It can. We have all earned degrees in engineering, medicine, literature, history, education, accounting, etc. If we can master these complex subjects, why can't we learn Arabic grammar? We can.
(2) Like any discipline, the study of Arabic grammar can be a lifelong pursuit, but there's no rule saying, "Once you start to learn Arabic, you cannot stop until you've mastered it". You don't need to be a grammarian to possess a working, intermediate-level understanding of Arabic grammar. We also forget that the fruits of Arabic grammar can be reaped IMMEDIATELY, from day #1, lesson #1.
(3) Arabic grammar is NOT "all or nothing". Like mentioned above, even knowledge of a few simple, isolated rules will permanently strengthen our relationship with the Quran.
Aware of the above concerns, I made this video series (Arabic Grammar for Understanding the Quran) for anyone who wants to learn Arabic. The following are my objectives:
(1) Presenting a "complex" subject in a simple, intuitive way. My goal is to maintain clarity both in the descriptions and in the visuals used.
(2) Shrinking 2.5 years of Arabic grammar content into 20 short videos, each lasting between 30-45 minutes (for a grand total of no more than 15 hours), insha'Allah. This requires a massive condensing of material as well as an omission of a few concepts.
(3) Demonstrating the relevance of grammar and the real-life application of grammar rules ("theory") to understanding the Quran ("practice"). Thus, every single lesson will feature step-by-step grammatical analyses of Quranic verses.

La sinceridad es muy importante en el Islam, y alejarse de la sinceridad es un gran peligro para el siervo, Pues Allah no acepta las buenas obras sino son únicamente y exclusivamente para Él. Quien realiza estos actos para alguien más que Allah, sus obras no serán aceptadas aún que sean abundantes. Pero quien obra propiamente con lealtad para Allah, aunque sea un poco, Allah aceptara sus obras y lo recompensara.
Quienes realizan una obra o rito de adoración en el que asocie copartícipes a Allah, esa obra no será aceptada por Allah, por muy buena que sea.
Quien realice una obra o rito de adoración en el que se asocie a alguien a Allah, esa obra no será aceptada, por muy buena que sea, es decir si realizamos un acto para que alguien nos vea y diga que tan buenos somos, esa obra será nula en la balanza, una obra debe ser 100% para Allah no vale ser un 99% para Allah y el 1 % para que alguien nos vea y nos elogie y nos felicite.
Allah dijo: {Ciertamente te hemos revelado el Libro [¡Oh, Muhammad!] con la Verdad; adora a Al-lah rindiéndole culto sincero. ¿Acaso no se le debe rendir a Al-lah el culto sincero?} [Corán 39:2-3]
Y dijo: {Orad en las mezquitas, invocad a Al-lah y sed sinceros en la fe; y [sabed que] así como os creó [por primera vez] seréis resucitados.} [Corán 7:29]
También dijo: {Invocad, pues, a Al-lah y adoradle con sinceridad, aunque ello disguste a los incrédulos.} [Corán 40:14]
{Él es el Viviente, no hay nada ni nadie con derecho a ser adorado salvo Él; adoradle, pues, con sinceridad. Alabado sea Al-lah, Señor del universo.} [Corán 40:65]
Y en otra parte del Corán dijo: {Y se les había ordenado [en sus legislaciones] que adoraran a Al-lah con sinceridad, fuesen monoteístas, realizaran la oración y pagaran el Zakat, pues esa es la verdadera religión.} [Corán 98:5]
Por tanto, vemos que Allah no acepta obras que no sean hechas con sinceridad, por ejemplo como hemos mencionado anteriormente cuando alguien hace una obra que no sea por allah sino para que se le vea no será aceptada.
Dice un hadiz relatado por el profeta "Allah: Yo soy el que no necesita de la asociación, quien de vosotros lleve a cabo una obra y haga copartícipes u otras deidades le dejo con esa deidad" es decir que Allah no va a aceptar estas obras, si esta intención es únicamente el 99% por Allah y no un 100% no será aceptada la obra, por este motivo Allah ha hecho que la sinceridad rija todas las cosas.
El verdadero musulmán es el que desiste sus obras únicamente a Allah, es decir no orienta su cara una vez a allah y otras veces a otras deidades. No debemos esperar ser elogiados por alguien debemos tener en cuenta solo la recompensa de Allah.
El musulmán y la musulmana son aquellos que realizan todas sus obras y actos por Allah, hasta nuestros dichos deben ser por Allah.
Nuestro problema hoy en día es el "RIA2" la hipocresía, y sobre todo en nuestras intenciones.
La intención cambia rápidamente, nuestro problema hoy en día y sobre todo afecta a los jóvenes, es un vaivén nosotros siempre estamos cambiando,
