1) Hike to Lao Chai Village to visit the Black Hmong as part of your Sapa trekking experience.
2) Hike to Ta Van Village to greet the Dzay Tribe on your second day of Sapa hiking.
3) Hike to Giang Ta Chai Village to be welcomed by the Dzao Tribe.
4) While basing yourself in Sapa take a short walk over to Cat Cat Village home of the Black Hmong Tribe.

Sa Pa is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Province in northwest Vietnam. It was first inhabited by people we know nothing about. They left in the entire valley hundreds of petroglyphs, mostly composed of lines, which experts think date from the 15th century and represent local cadastres. Then came the highland minorities of the Hmong and Yao. The township is one of the main market ones in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live. groups, as well as by smaller numbers of Tày and Giay. These are the four main minority groups still present in Sa Pa district today. The Kinh (lowland Vietnamese) never originally colonised this highest of Việt Nam’s valleys, which lies in the shadow of Phan-Xi-Pǎng (Fansipan, 3143 m), the highest peak in the country

This is my trip to SAPA, North Vietnam filmed in February of 2014.
The weather was cold and I was actually in a depressed state so I decided to climb mountains and fulfill a promise I had a Hmong friend I met four years earlier. Check out the British Bros' own Sapa video here:

Ngày 2/2/2016, UBND tỉnh Lào Cai và Tập đoàn Sun Group đã khánh thành tuyến cáp treo ba dây hiện đại nhất thế giới, lần đầu tiên có mặt tại Châu Á - Fansipan Sapa tại Sapa, Lào Cai.
Tại lễ khai trương, đại diện Kỷ lục Thế giới - Guinness World Record đã trao chứng nhận 2 kỷ lục Guinness cho cáp treo Fansipan Sapa là: Cáp treo ba dây có độ chênh giữa ga đi và ga đến lớn nhất thế giới: 1410m và Cáp treo ba dây dài nhất thế giới: 6292.5m.
Tuyến cáp treo Fansipan Sapa được khởi công vào tháng 11/2013, do Tập đoàn Sun Group đầu tư và thực hiện với sự tư vấn, thiết kế của hãng cáp treo số 1 thế giới Doppelmayr Garaventa.
Cáp treo có độ cao 3.143m so với mực nước biển, khởi điểm từ Thung lũng Mường Hoa đến đỉnh Fansipan - “nóc nhà Đông Dương” tại Việt Nam. Mỗi cabin cáp treo Fansipan Sapa có sức chứa tối đa 30 - 35 khách, công suất vận chuyển lên tới 2.000 khách/h, rút ngắn thời gian di chuyển lên đỉnh Fansipan xuống còn 15 phút thay vì 2 ngày đi bằng đường bộ hiểm trở. Tổng mức đầu tư giai đoạn 1 của tổ hợp dự án là 4.400 tỷ đồng.
Với hệ thống ba dây hiện đại nhất thế giới, Cáp treo Fansipan Sapa có khả năng chịu được áp lực gió mạnh và thời tiết khắc nghiệt, đảm bảo an toàn tuyệt đối cho du khách, mở ra cơ hội chiêm ngưỡng đỉnh Fansipan cho cả tất cả mọi người, kể cả người cao tuổi và trẻ em.
Ngoài tuyến cáp chính, các hạng mục kiến trúc như nhà ga đi, nhà ga đến, nhà hàng, quầy lưu niệm… đều được thiết kế kỳ công như những tuyệt tác nghệ thuật giữa ngàn mây. Nhà ga đi - Ga Sapa do Kiến trúc sư Bill Bensley, top 05 kiến trúc sư lừng danh thế giới thực hiện với vẻ đẹp tráng lệ đến từng chi tiết.
Điều đặc biệt là mỗi đường nét kiến trúc và chi tiết trang trí đều được Bill Bensley dày công chắt lọc từ những tinh túy trong hoa văn thổ cẩm của đồng bào dân tộc Tây Bắc tạo nên một công trình vừa lộng lẫy, vừa hài hòa tuyệt đối với thiên nhiên.

Sa Pa is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Province in northwest Vietnam. It was first inhabited by people we know nothing about. They left in the entire valley hundreds of petroglyphs, mostly composed of lines, which experts think date from the 15th century and represent local cadastres. Then came the highland minorities of the Hmong and Yao. The township is one of the main market ones in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live. groups, as well as by smaller numbers of Tày and Giay. These are the four main minority groups still present in Sa Pa district today. The Kinh (lowland Vietnamese) never originally colonised this highest of Việt Nam’s valleys, which lies in the shadow of Phan-Xi-Pǎng (Fansipan, 3143 m), the highest peak in the country

Tổng mức đầu tư giai đoạn 1 của tổ hợp dự án là 4.400 tỷ đồng.

Ngày 2/2/2016, UBND tỉnh Lào Cai và Tập đoàn Sun Group đã khánh thành tuyến cáp treo ba dây hiện đại nhất thế giới, lần đầu tiên có mặt tại Châu Á - Fansipan Sapa tại Sapa, Lào Cai.
Tại lễ khai trương, đại diện Kỷ lục Thế giới - Guinness World Record đã trao chứng nhận 2 kỷ lục Guinness cho cáp treo Fansipan Sapa là: Cáp treo ba dây có độ chênh giữa ga đi và ga đến lớn nhất thế giới: 1410m và Cáp treo ba dây dài nhất thế giới: 6292.5m.
Tuyến cáp treo Fansipan Sapa được khởi công vào tháng 11/2013, do Tập đoàn Sun Group đầu tư và thực hiện với sự tư vấn, thiết kế của hãng cáp treo số 1 thế giới Doppelmayr Garaventa.
Cáp treo có độ cao 3.143m so với mực nước biển, khởi điểm từ Thung lũng Mường Hoa đến đỉnh Fansipan - “nóc nhà Đông Dương” tại Việt Nam. Mỗi cabin cáp treo Fansipan Sapa có sức chứa tối đa 30 - 35 khách, công suất vận chuyển lên tới 2.000 khách/h, rút ngắn thời gian di chuyển lên đỉnh Fansipan xuống còn 15 phút thay vì 2 ngày đi bằng đường bộ hiểm trở. Tổng mức đầu tư giai đoạn 1 của tổ hợp dự án là 4.400 tỷ đồng.
