Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has been getting delayed for some or the other reason. For those who came in late, let us quickly brief you up about the same. Initially there was much confusion about the cast of the film. The film maker was unable to decide whether Shah Rukh Khan or Shahid Kapoor should be cast along with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the film. And once Shahid was finalised, he demanded a huge sum of money and also a meatier role than Ranveer’s in the film. after much contemplation, Bhansali approved and made the required changes in the script. However, soon after that, Mr Singh started throwing tantrums. He demanded that he did not want to share space with Shahid on the Padmavati poster, hence SLB decided to come up with three separate posters for the lead actors.
And now, the latest we get to hear is that Ranveer has said that he will begin shooting only if the other actor in the film — Shahid Kapoor is given a guest appearance billing. Well, that is clearly not possible primarily because Shahid accepted the role because it is on par with Ranveer’s, in the first place. He just cannot accept to do a special appearance in the film and would rather choose to walk out. He won’t play second fiddle to anybody at this stage of his career which is totally justified.
First the demand of separate posters and now asking for cutting down Shahid’s role..These unacceptable demands of RS are making it tough for SLB to go ahead with the shoot of the film. No wonder he is pissed off! Yes, our sources reveal that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is so pissed that he is done with all these tantrums of Ranveer. After the massive success of Goliyon Ki Ras Leela Raam Leela and Bajirao Mastani, Padmavati will probably be his last film with the actor. Because he is just upset with Ranveer being so insecure. While Sanjay feels that Ranveer should trust him and do the film no-questions-asked, the actor is simply looking after his own interest. We hope that everything becomes normal between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer. Else, these differences might affect the film majorly.
In Padmavati, Ranveer is playing the role of Sultan Allauddin Khilji who falls in love with Padmavati and her flawless beauty. Shahid will be seen portraying the role of Padmavati’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh who is known to be a weak King and loses his kingdom and wife to Khilji. Deepika, who is going to be playing Padmavati will not be seen getting romantically involved with Singh.
