Video shows Trump supporters toss, grab and punch protester

A protester was filmed being punched, tossed and grabbed by Donald Trump supporters at the campaign rally at Cumberland Valley High School on Monday.

The video, posted by Casey Boguski, shows Trump supporters trying to physically contain the protester inside the Mechanicsburg event.

Trump supporters are seen grabbing and tossing the protester and tearing at his clothes. Someone is shown throwing a punch at the protester.

The crowd can be heard chanting "USA!" as the protester is escorted outside by police.

Pennlive could not positively identify who threw the punch.

Boguski, a Trinity High School student, later deleted the video from Twitter.

Silver Spring Police Chief Chris Raubenstine said the protester denied medical attention and did not want to press charges. Raubenstine said he interviewed the protester, who said he "did what he wanted to get done."

Raubenstine said he believes the situation escalated quicker than the protester was expecting. He tried holding up a sign in the standing-room-only section of the rally and was quickly surrounded by Trump supporters.

"People got to realize that just because you disagree with someone, doesn't mean you can punch people," the police chief said.

The protester has the right to file charges later, Raubenstine said.
