Do you want to know how to find, reuse and remix free stock video footage on YouTube?
Perhaps you want to use the pan shot of the famous Golden Gate Bridge for your San Francisco vacation video. Perhaps you want some gorgeous footage of big wave surfing for your sports video
Creative commons licenses allows anyone, anywhere to edit, build on and republish YouTube's library of videos for free with the YouTube Video Editor thanks to the Creative Commons Attribution license.
Here are the steps to reuse, remix and republish creative commons videos on YouTube:
Go to YouTube
Enter "dog training video"
Click on the filters
Go to the drop down
Click "creative commons"
We've got dog training video here..click on that
We go down and click "show more"
We can see it has a creative commons attribution license (reuse allowed)
Click on "Remix this video"
This will bring up your YouTube Video editor
Now you can see the video is on the timeline
You can expand the timeline by moving the slider
You can also give the video a different name like "my dog training video"
And when you've done that you can also edit the video, trim the video according to what you need to get done.
After you've finished just click "create video"
And it says "we're processing this video, check back later"
The video will appear in your video manager.
It will also will say down the bottom "I created this video with YouTube Video Editor"
And then you can just add your info and settings and change the title, the description and tags, etc
Then you have a new video and that's it.
Here are 3 tips to use creative commons videos for your own projects…
1. Download a creative commons video and add your own voiceover to it.
2. Avoid creating your own video by just dragging and dropping a creative commons video on to the timeline in YouTube's Video Editor.
3. Add a creative commons video clip to one of your videos that you've already created by using the YouTube video editor.
That's it!
Now you know how to find high quality video footage on YouTube that you can reuse for your own video projects.

Find FREE money-making videos in YOUR niche in the YouTube Editor today!
1. Go to your YouTube page and CLICK on CREATION TOOLS on the left side of the window.
2. CLICK on YOUTUBE EDITOR.
3. CLICK on the Creative Commons CC TAB to find millions of auto-attribution videos.
4. Enter your niche's keyword terms in the Search Box and hit your Return key.
5. Voila! Up will pop many keyword targeted videos in YOUR niche.
6. Drag a video into the YouTube Editor timeline and edit as you would like. (Be careful to look and listen carefully for any copyrighted logos, emblems, music, celebrity faces or people in the video who obviously did NOT give the video creator permission to use their likeness, logo, music, etc. Read up on copyright laws and Creative Commons attribution licensing to make sure you use these videos correctly).
7. Click on the TEXT TAB and drag a TITLE clip to the beginning and end of your video in the timeline. Change the size, font, and position of your title as you wish. Be sure to add an appropriate Call to Action in your Outro Clip so viewers will know what to do after watching, e.g., "For More Info, Click The Link Below." Then make sure you add the link to your website page in the Video Description Box below your video so viewers can find you.
8. Add a Keyword rich title for your video.
9. Click PUBLISH.
10. Fill out all your Description, Monetization, and Advanced settings information in the tabs below your video. If you want to share your video with the Public, then make sure you choose PUBLIC in the drop-down box, write a brief teaser for your video, and check the boxes so friends can also see it on G+, Facebook, and Twitter.
11. SAVE and PUBLISH your video description and settings info and you are done!
WARNING: Sometimes unscrupulous copyright thieves will add videos to the Editor that are NOT licensed under the Creative Commons attribution by 3.0 license, so make sure YOU backtrack to the ORIGINAL creator to verify whether the CREATOR licensed it under Creative Commons for the YouTube Video Editor auto-attribution program. Otherwise, both the video and/or you may get deleted and/or banned for copyright infrigement.
While that may deter you from using YouTube's Creative Commons videos, don't let it. There are sooooooo many great videos licensed this way for YOU to use properly, that the little extra "sourcing" work is nothing compared to the time, cost, expertise, and trouble of creating similar videos from scratch.
So now... go find some money-making CCBY3.0 videos in YOUR niche!

In as many ways we can use Creative Commons to share, learn, and communicate with like-minded people around the globe, we can explain what it is that Creative Commons does. There are countless blogs, pictures, lectures, and songs on the benefits of CC. This time around, however, we've worked with the highly creative animators of WikiKiwis to produce an informative and entertaining animation explaining why and how Creative Commons achieves what it does best; promote sharing and creative content generation while respecting intellectual property rights.

Creative Commons
Creative Commons (CC) is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. The organization has released several copyright-licenses known as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public. Creative commons licenses allows anyone, anywhere to edit, build on and republish YouTube's library of videos for free with the YouTube Video Editor thanks to the Creative Commons Attribution license.
Here are the steps to reuse, remix and republish creative commons videos on YouTube:
Go to YouTube
Enter "dog training video"
Click on the filters
Go to the drop down
Click "creative commons"
We've got dog training video here..click on that
We go down and click "show more"
We can see it has a creative commons attribution license (reuse allowed)
Click on "Remix this video"
This will bring up your YouTube Video editor
Now you can see the video is on the timeline
You can expand the timeline by moving the slider
You can also give the video a different name like "my dog training video"
And when you've done that you can also edit the video, trim the video according to what you need to get done.
After you've finished just click "create video"
And it says "we're processing this video, check back later"
The video will appear in your video manager.
It will also will say down the bottom "I created this video with YouTube Video Editor"
And then you can just add your info and settings and change the title, the description and tags, etc

Find FREE money-making videos in YOUR niche in the YouTube Editor today!
1. Go to your YouTube page and CLICK on CREATION TOOLS on the left side of the window.
2. CLICK on YOUTUBE EDITOR.
3. CLICK on the Creative Commons CC TAB to find millions of auto-attribution videos.
4. Enter your niche's keyword terms in the Search Box and hit your Return key.
5. Voila! Up will pop many keyword targeted videos in YOUR niche.
6. Drag a video into the YouTube Editor timeline and edit as you would like. (Be careful to look and listen carefully for any copyrighted logos, emblems, music, celebrity faces or people in the video who obviously did NOT give the video creator permission to use their likeness, logo, music, etc. Read up on copyright laws and Creative Commons attribution licensing to make sure you use these videos correctly).
7. Click on the TEXT TAB and drag a TITLE clip to the beginning and end of your video in the timeline. Change the size, font, and position of your title as you wish. Be sure to add an appropriate Call to Action in your Outro Clip so viewers will know what to do after watching, e.g., "For More Info, Click The Link Below." Then make sure you add the link to your website page in the Video Description Box below your video so viewers can find you.
8. Add a Keyword rich title for your video.
9. Click PUBLISH.
10. Fill out all your Description, Monetization, and Advanced settings information in the tabs below your video. If you want to share your video with the Public, then make sure you choose PUBLIC in the drop-down box, write a brief teaser for your video, and check the boxes so friends can also see it on G+, Facebook, and Twitter.
11. SAVE and PUBLISH your video description and settings info and you are done!
WARNING: Sometimes unscrupulous copyright thieves will add videos to the Editor that are NOT licensed under the Creative Commons attribution by 3.0 license, so make sure YOU backtrack to the ORIGINAL creator to verify whether the CREATOR licensed it under Creative Commons for the YouTube Video Editor auto-attribution program. Otherwise, both the video and/or you may get deleted and/or banned for copyright infrigement.
While that may deter you from using YouTube's Creative Commons videos, don't let it. There are sooooooo many great videos licensed this way for YOU to use properly, that the little extra "sourcing" work is nothing compared to the time, cost, expertise, and trouble of creating similar videos from scratch.

In as many ways we can use Creative Commons to share, learn, and communicate with like-minded people around the globe, we can explain what it is that Creative Commons does. There are countless blogs, pictures, lectures, and songs on the benefits of CC. This time around, however, we've worked with the highly creative animators of WikiKiwis to produce an informative and entertaining animation explaining why and how Creative Commons achieves what it does best; promote sharing and creative content generation while respecting intellectual property rights.
The animation [comically] depicts creative people as they innovate with arts, science, literature, and music only to be hindered by the current strict regulations on copyrights. These regulations often do well with regards to protecting intellectual property in the physical, but their outdated restrictions compromises our ability as a global network of creative content creators to share and modify work freely and openly.
Enter Creative Commons: the protagonist of the story that helps us all share, mix and remix -- while respecting copyrights! By providing content licenses which are primarily designed to allow for creative works to be used, modified, and shared, Creative Commons paves the way for a global community of inspired and inspirational content creators and users that can-in turn-revolutionize the way we work together through the Internet.
