A 12-year-old girl has been hospitalised after two schoolgirls exchanged blows in Melbourne's north on Wednesday afternoon.
The fight broke out at a Hungry Jack's car park on High Street in Epping, shortly before 12.30pm.
One of the girls involved in the brawl was taken to The Northern Hospital with minor injuries.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said she was in a stable condition when assessed by paramedics.
The second girl involved in the scuffle, also aged 12, was no longer at the scene when police arrived.
A Victoria Police spokesman said investigations were continuing.
