A Kansas sheriff's department says it's investigating after one of its deputies was kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department says the deputy was abducted late Friday from a parking lot as she headed into work at the detention center in Olathe. It says the deputy, who has been with the department for about six months, did not know her abductors and was not in uniform at the time

On the first day of the exhibition "Transport and logistics 2016" in the city of Minsk the SkyWay display stand was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin. After studying the exposition, he expressed interest in the possibility of applying SkyWay transport systems for passenger traffic on the "second level". The implementation of this kind of transport systems, according to the Deputy Prime Minister, is one of the tasks set before the Government by the President of the Republic of Belarus. This possibility has already been considered at the level of the Minsk city administration, however, the existing solutions that the market currently offers, were deemed economically ineffective. If the SkyWay transport systems will confirm their compliance with the claimed technical and operational features, they have significant application prospects on the territory of the Republic. In this connection Anatoly Kalinin proposed the SkyWay General designer Anatoly Yunitskiy to prepare a project to implement SkyWay transport systems in the transport infrastructure of the Republic of Belarus and expressed readiness to visit the demonstration center to see the exhibited machines in action.

"That was the Arizona territory in 1880, and I was its chief marshal." So began this western series starring Henry Fonda as Simon Fry. Unfortunately, Fonda's character was fully integrated into the plot in only six of the episodes of the first season and thirteen in season two. In all other episodes he appeared only briefly, generally at the start of the episode and again at the close. Fonda did narrate most episodes. Fonda worked for ten weeks on season one, for example, shooting all of his scenes during that time, which left the rest of the year free for film and theater work.
