New Photos Coming…Hopefully.
Welp, I reckon it’s past time for us to accept progress and get some photos of new work up here on this new fandangled interwebs!
Doing the internets and online stuff feels as foreign to me as flying the Millenium Falcon would. In addition, I’ve lost my AOL and Netscape installation cd’s; hopefully I’ll find those and get this site up and running soon. Or at least put some photos in the portfolio section. Check back over the next few days as I work it all out!
I’d guess that it’s been three years since new work has been posted here, so there’s a photo dump coming!
New Website!
As you may have noticed, we are working on putting together a new website. Our hope is that the simpler format will be easier to navigate and maybe even update more often! Invariably we will encounter kinks along the way and are considering this a work in progress for now. We appreciate your patience during this transition! We would also love some feedback as to what you like and don’t like about the new format; especially if a feature is working incorrectly. Please shoot us an email to let us know! I had a lot of fun tattooing this unique take of the classic “Homeward Bound” tattoo on one of my favorite clients.

You might have noticed that 987 Santa Fe Dr is no longer our home! As of March 1st, 2014 , we are residing in NE Denver, close to the RiNo Art District.
Thank you for being patient as we made this transition. We are so excited to be back at it in our new home!

X Games
Last weekend we headed up to Aspen for the X Games. Preston tattooed out of the pop-up tattoo shop, Hold Fast Tattoo, at the Sky Hotel, hosted by Sailor Jerry Rum. The clients, who included artists, musicians, athletes and supporters of Sailor Jerry Rum, received classic pieces of Sailor Jerry flash.
Sailor Jerry Rum also hosted the unofficial X Games kickoff party at the Sky Hotel that you can read more about here.
We met so many great people and got to hang out with some old acquaintances. We had a little time to explore the town of Aspen and we were lucky enough to catch Shaun White bust out the 100 point perfect run in the SuperPipe. It was pretty awesome! Not so awesome was watching Justin Hoyer break his arm attempting a double backflip on the snowmobile. It was pretty much awful!

Happy Birthday, Norman Collins!
Saturday, January 14th 2012 marked the 101st birthday of Sailor Jerry. To commemorate the occasion, Preston paired up with Joe from Sailor Jerry Rum to knock out some classic SJ flash. The lucky recipients included many local bartenders to show appreciation for their continued support of Sailor Jerry Rum.
It was a long day, 14 hours long to be exact, with lots of people, flash, laughs, coffee, pizza and much frustration whilst trying to find a signal so everyone could catch the Broncos vs. Patriots game (sad face) in the evening.
We’re grateful to be a part of this occasion and look forward to working with Sailor Jerry Rum again as we head to Aspen in a couple of weeks to tattoo out of the Sailor Jerry Airstream at the X Games.
