MINOR TO MODERATE FLOOD WARNING FOR THE BOGAN RIVER

Flood Warning Number: 34
An average of 28 millimetres of rain has fallen during the 15 hours to 9pm
Sunday [18/09/16]. However, the rain has eased since 9pm Sunday.
This rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Peak Hill Monday afternoon
[19/09/16].
Minor flooding continues at Dandaloo following a moderate flood peak of 5.38
metres observed on Thursday [15/09/16].
Moderate flooding continues at Mudall following a major flood peak of 3.63
metres observed on Saturday [10/09/16].
Moderate flooding continues at Nyngan following a moderate flood peak of 4.05
metres observed on Wednesday [14/09/16].
Moderate flooding is also occurring at Mulgawarrina (estimated) where a
moderate flood peak is expected on Tuesday [20/09/16].
Minor flooding is current at Gongolgon.
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
Peak Hill
- peak near 2.9 metres around 9pm Monday [19/09/16] with minor flooding
Dandaloo - Reach 4.6 metres around Thursday [22/09/16] with minor flooding
Mulgawarrina
- peak near 5.4 metres around Tuesday [20/09/16] with moderate flooding
Gongolgon
- peak near 1.1 metres around 25/09/16 with moderate flooding
