Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (1871) is a novel by Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson), the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865). Set some six months later than the earlier book, Alice again enters a fantastical world, this time by climbing through a mirror into the world that she can see beyond it. Through the Looking-Glass includes such celebrated verses as "Jabberwocky" and "The Walrus and the Carpenter", and the episode involving Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
Alice is playing with a white kitten (whom she calls "Snowdrop") and a black kitten (whom she calls "Kitty")—the offspring of Dinah, Alice's cat in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland—when she ponders what the world is like on the other side of a mirror's reflection. Climbing up on the fireplace mantel, she pokes at the wall-hung mirror behind the fireplace and discovers, to her surprise, that she is able to step through it to an alternative world. In this reflected version of her own house, she finds a book with looking-glass poetry, "Jabberwocky", whose reversed printing she can read only by holding it up to the mirror. She also observes that the chess pieces have come to life, though they remain small enough for her to pick up.
Stephen or Stephan (Greek: Στέφανος, Stephanos; Latin: Stephanus), traditionally venerated as the Protomartyr or first martyr of Christianity, was according to the Acts of the Apostles a deacon in the early church at Jerusalem who aroused the enmity of members of various synagogues by his teachings. Accused of blasphemy, at his trial he made a long speech denouncing the Jewish authorities who were sitting in judgment on him and was then stoned to death. His martyrdom was witnessed by Saul of Tarsus, a Pharisee who would later himself become a follower of Jesus.
The only primary source for information about Stephen is the New Testament book of the Acts of the Apostles. Stephen is mentioned in Acts 6 as one of the Greek-speaking Hellenistic Jews selected to participate in a fairer distribution of welfare to the Greek-speaking widows.
The Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran, Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Churches venerate Stephen as a saint. Stephen's name is derived from the Greek language Stephanos, meaning "crown". Traditionally, Stephen is invested with a crown of martyrdom; artistic representations often depict him with three stones and the martyr's palm frond. Eastern Christian iconography shows him as a young, beardless man with a tonsure, wearing a deacon's vestments, and often holding a miniature church building or a censer.

Through The Looking Glass, 2017 - Celebrating 'Stephania', an enigma that remains unexplained.
A bunch of idiots saying random things while good music plays in the background. On a serious note, this one's for the batch that inspired us all to do better and be better.
First entry in the TTLG Newdark Novice Contest: Forgotten Tomb by Kurhhan. ► Release thread: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146324 ► Story: The action takes place long after the events of Thief 2. Times are hard now for people of my profession. The City Watch along with the new Sheriff are more powerful and effective than ever. The Keepers keep quiet, The Mechanists are long gone, as are the Hammerites. To pay the rent I must seek opportunities at the outskirts of the City. As it happens, Basso came into possession of an old Hammerite map. The old paper reveals the location of a long forgotten tomb, far away in the Dark Forest. It seems this tomb served as the final resting place for fallen guards from various posts scattered among the Forest. There may also be the re...

Abstract video of decorative masks and lifelike figures in surreal settings accompany an in-depth literary/psychological analysis of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and, particularly, its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass. The video is introduced and concluded by a view into and out of “infinite mirrors” — transporting the viewer into and out of artist Stephen James’ TTLG Studio.
This is my audition for Through the Looking Glass, a local hardcore band in Hot Springs, AR. I forgot a few words, and changed one lyric, but that's about it.
