A motorcyclist has been killed in a head-on crash with a car north of Brisbane.
Paramedics were called to Ann Street in Kallangur just before 2.30pm on Monday.
A police spokesman confirmed the 44-year-old man was riding the motorcycle along Ann Street when the motorcycle and car collided head-on.
The motorcyclist was unable to be revived and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car's driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 20-year-old man was assisting police with inquiries and the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating, the spokesman said.
A witness of the fatal crash, Cruze Wharton, said he lost his best mate just two weeks earlier on the same stretch of road after his friend was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle.
"He wasn't a reckless rider or anything, he loved fishing, he was a good kid and he didn't deserve any of it," he told Nine News.
