Fulltime at ANZ Stadium: CANTERBURY 40 BRISBANE 14

CANTERBURY have run up an astounding score against Brisbane, with returning NSW and Australian rep Brett Morris posting a hat-trick.

Giants Sam Kasiano, David Klemmer and Tny Williams were also among the tryscorers, with 'Dogzilla' Kasiano posting a brace

COMMENT: The result means Canterbury has now drawn level with Brisbane on the competition table but there is a feeling the teams are heading in opposite directions.

78 min: Kasiano try, Holland goal

Sam Kasiano scores again! It's hard to believe, I know. Karrod Holland converts from directly in front. This would be close to the highlight of Big Sam's entire career. Brisbane 40-14

73 min: Milford try, Parker goal

Anthony Milford chases Ben Hunt's chip, regathers, and accelerates on a dime to leave Will Hopoate grasping at air. Blistering stuff. Corey Parker is unable to convert. Canterbury 34-14

69 min: Morris try, Holland goal

Curtis Rona takes an intercept on his own line, passes to Moses Mbye who turns the defence inside out, and then Brett MOrris completes his hat-trick on return from injury Another 95 metre try. Holland in, off the upright. Morris is the first Bulldog to ever scoee a hat-trick against Brisbane. Canterbury 34-10

60 min: Roberts try, Parker goal

Canterbury attempt to add to their total but James Roberts comes up with the ball and races 95 metres to score. What about the pace of Jimmy The Jet? Canterbury 28-10

59 min: Morris try, Holland goal

Curtin Rona sets it up perfectly for Brett Morris to post his second try. Didn't we all think Brisbane would win the comp this year? They're in a helluva hole. Holland converts from out wide. Canterbury Canterbury 28-4

54 min: Klemmer try, Holland goal

Clearly thw way to beat Brisbane is with enormous numan beaings. David Klemmer beats four defenders from a standing start to crash over between the posts. Sure, poor defence ... but Klemmer wanted it. Holland converts. Brisbane 22-4

46 min: Morris try, Holland goal

Brett Morris, a late inclusion returning from a knee injury, backs up a mid-field break to score. Kerrod Holland converts. Canterbury well in control now. Canterbury 16-4

Bad start to the second half for Canterbury with Tony Williams fumbling. Canterbury 10-4

Halftime at ANZ Stadium: CANTERBURY 10 BRISBANE 4

CANTERBURY centre Kerrod Holland has failed to add a penalty goal right on halftime, with an Herculean Sam Kasiano try the feature of the home side's six point lead over Brisbane.

The Broncos opened the scoring through Corey Oates before big men Tony Williams and Kasiano stepped up to  grab places on the scoresheet towards the end of the first period.

Brisbane debutant Tom Opacic lasted just 23 minutes before succumbing to a lower leg injury.

COMMENT: The Bulldogs most inconsistent players seem to play consistently well afainst Brisbane.

LeBron Kasiano in for a meat pie to make it 10-4 at the break! Let's go Doggies #proudtobeabulldog

37 min: Kasiano try

Sam Kasiano goes from dumm-half, is pushed back and then realises he is bigger than everyone else. He puts the ball in one mit and reaches over a clutch of opponents to score in the north-western corner as if it's nothing. The conversion is no good. Canterbury 10-4

Anthony Milford missed goal. It was easily kickable but the Milf hooked it. Canterbury 6-4

28 min: Williams try, Holland goal

The Bulldogs get an opportunity up the other end and Mose Mbye offloads inside to Tony Williams who just can't be stopped. He's off contract next year. Where will he end up? Kerrod Hollay converts - I thought it looked on TV like it missed! Canterbury 6-4

22 min: Oates try

Corey Oates goes close but is held up near the south-eastern corner. From the restart, and after a couple of tackles, play moves back to the same spot and the giant Oates touches down. The Bunker confirms he got it down cleanly.  Corey Parker from the sideline and the kick is off to the left. Brisbane 4-0

Soory we've not said much yet in this game. Still catching our breath from the last one. The Broncos just had a scoring opportunity with Brett Morris turning around and getting to the ball just in time to prevent Greg Eden dotting down. Canterbury 0 Brisbane 0

An 86th-minute field goal by a wrong-footed James Maloney has given Cronulla their 11th consecutive victory.

Earlier, the Warriors led 10-0 before tailing at halftime. a penalty goal for Issac Luke late in regulation time tied things up.

The first period of overtime is complete without a field goal attempt being taken. The Warriros finished the five minutes on the attack, just a few metres out.

CRONULLA five-eighth James Maloney missed a field goal attempt from in front during the final frantic minutes of regulation time in the match against the Warriors at Southern Cross Stadium.

In the open minutes of extra time, Chad Townsend made a break but the pass to Ben Barba was dropped.

72 min: Luke goal

James Maloney is penalised for a high tackle on Shaun Johnson and it's in easy kicking distance for the Warriors. Paul Gallen argues the toss. The goal is there. Later, James Maloney misses a field goal attempt from in front.18-18
