During Barack Obama's campaign for president in 2008 and in the years following his election, many conspiracy theories have been circulated, falsely asserting that he is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and consequently, under Article Two of the U.S. Constitution, that he is ineligible to be President of the United States.
Theories allege that Obama's published birth certificate is a forgery—that his actual birthplace is not Hawaii but Kenya. Other theories allege that Obama became a citizen of Indonesia in childhood, thereby losing his U.S. citizenship. Still others claim that Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen because he was born a dual citizen (British and American). A number of political commentators have characterized these various claims as a racist reaction to Obama's status as the first African American president of the United States.
Such claims have been promoted by fringe theorists ("birthers"), some of whom have sought court rulings either declaring Obama ineligible to take office, or granting access to various documents which they claim exist, and which they claim would evidence such ineligibility; none of these efforts have been successful. Some political opponents, especially in the Republican Party, have expressed skepticism about Obama's citizenship or been unwilling to acknowledge it; some have proposed legislation which would require presidential candidates to provide proof of eligibility.

Late Night is shorthand for several different things:
Seth Adam Meyers (born December 28, 1973) is an American comedian, writer, producer, television host, actor, and voice actor. He currently hosts Late Night with Seth Meyers, a late-night talk show that airs on NBC. Prior to that, he was a head writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live (2001–2014) and hosted its news parody segment Weekend Update.
He also hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014, starred in the animated Hulu series The Awesomes (2013–2015), appeared in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), and is the co-creator, co-writer, and executive producer of Documentary Now! (2015–present)
Meyers was born in Evanston, Illinois, and was raised in Okemos, Michigan from ages 4–10 and Bedford, New Hampshire after that. His mother, Hilary Claire (née Olson), was a French teacher, and his father, Laurence Meyers, Jr., worked in finance. His younger brother is actor Josh Meyers. His paternal grandfather was Jewish, and although Meyers has performed at several Jewish Community Centers, he does not consider himself Jewish. His other ancestry is Czech-Austrian (from his paternal grandmother), Swedish, English, and German. Meyers attended Edgewood Elementary in Okemos and later graduated from Manchester High School West in New Hampshire. He then attended and graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, where he became a member of the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta.
Barack Hussein Obama II (US i/bəˈrɑːk huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; born August 4, 1961) is an American politician serving as the 44th President of the United States, the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he served as president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at University of Chicago Law School between 1992 and 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, and ran unsuccessfully in the Democratic primary for the United States House of Representatives in 2000 against incumbent Bobby Rush.
In 2004, Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March Democratic Party primary, his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July, and his election to the Senate in November. He began his presidential campaign in 2007 and, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Nine months after his inauguration, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

07:37 – Sept. 16, 2016 https://youtu.be/B1btCJF5qcI Good evening, I’m still reporting on politics. Today at the opening of Donald Trump’s new hotel in the Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., Trump brought 44 new flag officers endorsing him, including more than a dozen of the 77 living Medal of Honor winners. Trump, then made one very brief comment: [insert] On the CNN feed, this was followed by veteran CNN Chief National Correspondent John King with his propaganda slant to the Trump statement. [insert] This morning’s edition of the New York Times pounced on Trump as well: “Trump Drops False ‘Birther’ Theory, but Floats a New One: Clinton Started It” Well, the folks at the New York Times know this headline is a deliberate misrepresentation of the historical facts. Let’s ...
Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton launched a blistering attack on Donald Trump over his continued propagation of the 'racist birther lie' in demanding President Barack Obama release his birth certificate.
The sheriff claims his team spotted "9 points of forgery" in President Obama's birth certificate, but some are skeptical about the findings. The world's goin' crazy and
Nobody gives a damn anymore.
And they're breakin' off relationships and
Leavin' on sailin' ships for far and distant shores.
For them it's all over,
But I'm gonna stay.
I wouldn't leave anyway.
I know that someday we'll find a way.
We'll be O.K.
'Cause I'm your brother,
Though I don't even know your name.
I've discovered that,
Deep down inside, you feel the same.
Our friends are leavin'.
Now they seem so far away.
But we shouldn't feel afraid.
There's so much that we can say.
You're my brother,
Though I didn't know you yesterday.
I'm your brother.
Together we can find a way.
The world's goin' crazy and
Nobody gives a damn anymore.
And they're breakin' off relationships and
Leavin' on sailin' ships for far and distant shores.
The old world's fadin'.
Now it seems so far away.
Well, I'm not goin' anywhere.
There's so much that we can share.
I'm your brother.
The world's goin' crazy and
Nobody gives a damn anymore.
And they're breakin' off relationships and
Leavin' on sailin' ships for far and distant shores.
