Anglophone Anarchist Internet Federation (AAIF): Media Wing

This site, Anarchistnews.org, might not be the eventual hub of activity for such a federation, but it is definitely a good organizing tool for the possibility for such a site to exist.

The first steps of this federation would be to network all the various media publishers and for the site to be gear as publisher friendly. This can include forum comments as the form of media, but I'm more thinking a multi-media that is geared for audio shows, video makers, print magazines, music, poetry, spoken word, game makers, street art, gallery art, plays and so on.

Because direct action is the heart of it all, I am going to spearhead the attempt to get together all the anarchist projects I can that meet the following criteria: 1. Are anarchists. 2.Have something to do with media. 3. Want to network with other anarchist media, using the site to enable anarchists to build ties organically.

This can include sharing in events like tours throughout the anglophone world, creating conventions which show off our skills at media, with some showmanship or just establishing stronger roots at home and gathering a circle of individuals around your print magazine.
