No one is denying that soft drink is delicious. Occasionally and part of a balanced diet there's nothing wrong with a glass of the bubbly stuff, though many of us drink it more than occasionally and often it'll take the place of good 'ole water.
There's a few key reasons why that's not ideal, cost and calories being two of them. A bottle of Mountain Dew contains 77 grams of sugar, while there are 52 grams in a bottle of Coke. When you consider that the World Health Organisation's recommended sugar intake for adults is 25 grams a day, well, you can join the dots.
