Man dies, two injured in three separate motorcycle accidents on Brisbane roads

One man is dead and two others are in hospital after a horror night on Brisbane roads for motorcyclists.

Police said a 40-year-old man was unable to be revived at the scene of a Calamvale accident shortly before 7pm on Friday night.

He was believed to have been travelling along Nottingham Road when his bike left the road and collided with a fence.

Earlier, at around 5pm, police had attended a motorcycle accident at Ashgrove after a motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of Jubilee Terrace and Bryant Street. 

The motorcycle rider, a 37-year-old man from Springfield, was taken to hospital in a critical condition. 

A third motorcyclist was injured after an accident at Enoggera about 10pm. Police said the man, aged in his 30's, had serious internal injuries after his motorcycle crashed Sicklefield Road.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crashes to contact them.
