This particular song is 'Mombasa'.'
I certainly hope Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan include the whole performance in the Inception DVD! I suspect it will be released (the dvd of the movie) in December 2010 (that's when the Dark Knight dvd was released).

Mombasa is the second-largest city in Kenya. Lying next to the Indian Ocean, it has a major port and an international airport. The city also serves as the centre of the coastal tourism industry.
Also known as Mombas in colonial times, its name derives from Manbasa. This was the Arabic name of the former sultanate of Mvita, which had its capital here. In modern times the town is the headquarters of Mombasa District, which, like most other districts in Kenya, is named after its chief town.
The city has a population of 939,370, as per the 2009 census,[citation needed] and is located on Mombasa Island, which is separated from the mainland by two creeks: Tudor Creek and Kilindini Harbour. The island is connected to the mainland to the north by the Nyali Bridge, to the south by the Likoni Ferry and to the west by the Makupa Causeway, alongside which runs the Kenya-Uganda Railway. The port serves both Kenya and countries of the interior, linking them to the Ocean. The city is served by Moi International Airport located in the northwest mainland suburb of Chaani, northwest of Changamwe area.

Kenya (
/ˈkɛnjə/ or /ˈkiːnjə/), officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in East Africa that lies on the equator. With the Indian Ocean to its south-east, it is bordered by Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west, South Sudan to the north-west, Ethiopia to the north and Somalia to the north-east. Kenya has a land area of 580,000 km2 and a population of nearly 41 million, representing 42 different peoples and cultures. The country is named after Mount Kenya, a significant landmark and second among Africa's highest mountain peaks. Kenya's capital and largest city is Nairobi.
Kenya has a warm and humid climate along its coastline on the Indian Ocean which changes to wildlife-rich savannah grasslands moving inland towards the capital Nairobi. Nairobi has a cool climate that gets colder approaching Mount Kenya, which has three permanently snow-capped peaks. The warm and humid tropical climate reappears further inland towards lake Victoria, before giving way to temperate forested and hilly areas in the western region. The North Eastern regions along the border with Somalia and Ethiopia are arid and semi-arid areas with near-desert landscapes. Lake Victoria, the world's second largest fresh-water lake (after Lake Superior in the US and Canada) and the world's largest tropical lake, is situated to the southwest and is shared with Uganda and Tanzania. Kenya is famous for its safaris and diverse world-famous wildlife reserves such as Tsavo National Park, the Maasai Mara, Nakuru National Park, and Aberdares National Park.

A guide book is a book for tourists or travelers that provides details about a geographic location, tourist destination, or itinerary. It is the written equivalent of a tour guide. Many travel guides now take the form of travel websites rather than printed books.
It will usually include details such as phone numbers, addresses, prices and reviews of hotels and other lodgings, restaurants, and activities. Maps of varying detail are often included. The periplus was an itinerary from landmark to landmark of the ports along a coast, a forerunner of the guide. A periplus such as the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea was a manuscript document that listed, in order, the ports and coastal landmarks, with approximate intervening distances, that the captain of a vessel could expect to find along a shore. It served the same purpose as the later Roman itinerarium of road stops.

Night Train to Mombasa (Travel vlog)
Reality travel vlog. The most adventurous, fun and exciting train journey of my life. The train is very old, it is not plush as I'm sure it once was, the toilets leave a lot to be desired, the crockery in the dining/ breakfast car is plastic except for the tea cups, saucers, and the odd silver butter dish (containing margarine!) and honestly the food is not great. However, the train staff are helpful, hospitable and accommodating, the bar is basic, but well-stocked and fairly inexpensive for tourists, fellow travellers will somehow be unforgettable, the sheets and blankets are freshly laundered, the early morning views and sunset if you catch it are amazing, and most of all it's 14 hours (yep) of travelling history. Mombasa is an island in Kenya so beautiful beyond any imagination. It is also the gateway to Kenya and a tourist destination that attracts tourist from all over the world. To the south it is linked by ferries, very safe with no history of any calamity and in the north by Nyali bridge. I work in the USA but this is my vacation choice every summer for the last seven years. It is relaxing, delicious Swahili food, great people, rich history and culture. Fort Jesus takes you down the memory lane with great history. There beaches in north and south coast and great five star hotels. Other areas of great interest along the coastal belt are Mtwapa, kilifi,and Malindi. -

Reality travel vlog. The most adventurous, fun and exciting train journey of my life. The train is very old, it is not plush as I'm sure it once was, the toilets leave a lot to be desired, the crockery in the dining/ breakfast car is plastic except for the tea cups, saucers, and the odd silver butter dish (containing margarine!) and honestly the food is not great. However, the train staff are helpful, hospitable and accommodating, the bar is basic, but well-stocked and fairly inexpensive for tourists, fellow travellers will somehow be unforgettable, the sheets and blankets are freshly laundered, the early morning views and sunset if you catch it are amazing, and most of all it's 14 hours (yep) of travelling history. The train interior is all original, the compartment beds, hand basins, choo lav (!!), doors, handles, fans, fixtures and fittings. I find this extraordinary. I guess it's not for everybody, but it is for the adventurous, robust and easy going traveller who has a good sense of humour.

Mombasa is an island in Kenya so beautiful beyond any imagination. It is also the gateway to Kenya and a tourist destination that attracts tourist from all over the world. To the south it is linked by ferries, very safe with no history of any calamity and in the north by Nyali bridge. I work in the USA but this is my vacation choice every summer for the last seven years. It is relaxing, delicious Swahili food, great people, rich history and culture. Fort Jesus takes you down the memory lane with great history. There beaches in north and south coast and great five star hotels. Other areas of great interest along the coastal belt are Mtwapa, kilifi,and Malindi.
