The force of the collision sent the taxi onto its roof onto the footpath.

Details about the occupants were unclear, but there were six people involved in the incident and Queensland Ambulance reported none suffered serious injuries.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance said three people were transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.

Police were diverting traffic around the scene while the vehicles are removed, but reports are that traffic is flowing smoothly along both streets.
