Teenage boy rushed to hospital after incident at Hale School

A student has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an incident at Perth's Hale School.

The senior school student plunged from a second-storey balcony at the prestigious all-boy's school in Wembley Downs.

St John Ambulance confirmed they received an emergency call at 10am and took a teenage boy to Royal Perth Hospital as a Priority 1.

He is now in 'serious but stable' condition. 

"All students have been offered counselling and support and their parents have been notified," a spokeswoman said. 

The school's alumni include Ben Roberts-Smith, Christian Porter and Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest.
