FPV (first person view) means flying a drone with goggles on that receive a live video feed from the drone. The drone has a small security camera on the front of it and a video transmitter that sends video instantaneously to the pilot. The footage you see is from the GoPro, not the FPV feed. The FPV feed looks more grainy and is usually in 480p. At this resolution it is still very easy to see a person on the ground. The pilot in this video was aware of the people in the park and did not fly over or towards any bystanders.
While flying at a park in So Cal after a drone race, we crashed one of our drones. The crash occurred far away from any people, but one lady decided she didn't like what we were doing and stole our drone. The GoPro was recording the whole time and we got some amazing sound bites.
The police showed up and gave us our property back and couldn't have been nicer.
You may hear some obscene verbal abuse from the woman, so viewer discretion is advised.

The drone game has changed. That may sound like hyperbole, but that was my first impression when experiencing the DJI Inspire One. This is a unit that anyone could pick up and learn to fly quickly, just as you could with the DJI Phantom. But it offers a ton of powerful new features that were previously only available in units too big, dangerous, and expensive for the average consumer to own.
Watching the Inspire One take off and land is exciting, because it transforms mid-flight, with the legs folding up after takeoff so you can shoot 360 degrees of unobstructed video. The unit also has a ground-facing camera that can track what's below and keep the unit stabilized, even when there is no GPS signal, making it much easier to fly indoors.

Liam Hemsworth
Liam Hemsworth (born 13 January 1990) is an Australian actor. He played the role of Josh Taylor in the soap opera Neighbours and as Marcus on the children's television series The Elephant Princess. In 2010, he starred in the American film The Last Song and in 2012, he starred as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series, based on an adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel series. Hemsworth's older brothers, Luke and Chris, are also actors.
Early life
Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Australia, to Leonie, a teacher of English, and Craig Hemsworth, a social-services counsellor. His two older brothers are Chris and Luke Hemsworth, who also work as actors. Hemsworth has said that though there is competition for jobs among them, it is friendly: "We are brothers and we are always competitive, but it is a good thing, it pushes us and we are always happy whenever someone books something."
When Hemsworth was in year 8, he and his family relocated to Phillip Island, a small Australian island southeast of Melbourne. Hemsworth says he spent much of his time there surfing with his brothers. In March 2009, Hemsworth moved to the United States to pursue his career there. He and his brother Chris first stayed in the guest house of Chris's manager, William Ward, before renting their own Los Angeles apartment.

You can buy a drone like the one in this video here - www.multirotormania.com
FPV (first person view) means flying a drone with goggles on that receive a live video feed from the drone. The drone has a small security camera on the front of it and a video transmitter that sends video instantaneously to the pilot. The footage you see is from the GoPro, not the FPV feed. The FPV feed looks more grainy and is usually in 480p. At this resolution it is still very easy to see a person on the ground. The pilot in this video was aware of the people in the park and did not fly over or towards any bystanders.
While flying at a park in So Cal after a drone race, we crashed one of our drones. The crash occurred far away from any people, but one lady decided she didn't like what we were doing and stole our drone. The GoPro was recording the whole time and we got some amazing sound bites.
The police showed up and gave us our property back and couldn't have been nicer.
You may hear some obscene verbal abuse from the woman, so viewer discretion is advised.

The drone game has changed. That may sound like hyperbole, but that was my first impression when experiencing the DJI Inspire One. This is a unit that anyone could pick up and learn to fly quickly, just as you could with the DJI Phantom. But it offers a ton of powerful new features that were previously only available in units too big, dangerous, and expensive for the average consumer to own.
Watching the Inspire One take off and land is exciting, because it transforms mid-flight, with the legs folding up after takeoff so you can shoot 360 degrees of unobstructed video. The unit also has a ground-facing camera that can track what's below and keep the unit stabilized, even when there is no GPS signal, making it much easier to fly indoors.

It was built so that the local farmers might make some money working on its construction and not starve. In this way it is a centuries-old precursor to some of the projects of Roosevelt’s New Deal. Katherine Conolly commissioned the structure. Katherine was the widow of William Conolly, who had been a prominent member of the Irish House of Commons and died the richest man in Ireland. It was built so that the local farmers might make some money working on its construction and not starve. In this way it is a centuries-old precursor to some of the projects of Roosevelt’s New Deal.
Katherine Conolly commissioned the structure. Katherine was the widow of William Conolly, who had been a prominent member of the Irish House of Commons and died the richest man in Ireland. The arches and obelisks are decorated with stone eagles and pineapples, and the central obelisk reaches a height of 140 feet.

- Official Xiaomi "Mi UAV" app is in Chinese. It's somewhat impossible to use unless you know Chinese. There is a non official translated version in English, however it is an older version of the app.
- The English translated version of the app kept crashing on me. First would lose FPV view, then would lose app connection with quadcopter (although I still maintained manual GPS position hold flying). However, people are not having much better luck with the official version either http://en.miui.com/thread-308024-1-1.html
- Smartphones (like mine) can be very hard to see outdoors in daylight. Might be a good idea if Xiaomi included an AV output port for goggles.
