Todd Oldham teamed up with PETA for an animal-friendly fashion tutorial video, in which he illustrates how he creatively adapts various fabrics to avoid using fur, leather, feathers, and other animal-derived materials. The video was filmed at the Rhode Island School of Design, which recently hosted a museum retrospective dedicated to his whimsical fashions. Oldham's tutorial debuted at America's top design school, Parsons School of Design, in February 2017 at a PETA-hosted panel discussion on sustainable vegan fashion that was moderated by the designer himself, as the school publicly announced the removal of its longtime fur program. Todd Oldham
Todd Oldham (born October 22, 1961) is an American-born designer and president of L-7 Designs Inc. His fun, lighthearted approach to fashion and style has become known to millions through his fashion lines, interior designs, books and by appearing in television shows.
Oldham launched his first clothing line in 1989 and won the Council of Fashion Designer Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent in 1991. In 1998, Oldham moved to New York with his business partner, Tony Longoria. Oldham served as creative consultant to Escada in the late 1990s He launched a perfume line in 1995 and designed a clothing line for Target (2002–2003). In 1995, he produced a clothing line associated with the Warner Brothers film Batman Forever. Oldham designed furniture and home accessories for La-Z-Boy furniture (2003–2007) and served as creative director for Old Navy.
Oldham designed The Hotel of South Beach in 1999. He is currently designing the annex to the hotel. Oldham has become widely known to American TV audiences through his many television appearances, most notably as host of the "Todd Time" segment on MTV's House of Style from 1993 to 1999. He hosted Fashionably Loud on MTV in 1999 and recently served as mentor to contestants on Bravo's Top Design.

Coordinates: 53°32′40″N 2°07′01″W / 53.5444°N 2.1169°W / 53.5444; -2.1169
Oldham /ˈɒldəm/ is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines between the rivers Irk and Medlock, 5.3 miles (8.5 km) south-southeast of Rochdale and 6.9 miles (11.1 km) northeast of Manchester. Together with several smaller surrounding towns, it is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham of which it is the administrative centre.
Historically in Lancashire, and with little early history to speak of, Oldham rose to prominence in the 19th century as an international centre of textile manufacture. It was a boomtown of the Industrial Revolution, and among the first ever industrialised towns, rapidly becoming "one of the most important centres of cotton and textile industries in England". At its zenith, it was the most productive cotton spinning mill town in the world, producing more cotton than France and Germany combined. Oldham's textile industry fell into decline in the mid-20th century; the town's last mill closed in 1998.

Todd Oldham teamed up with PETA for an animal-friendly fashion tutorial video, in which he illustrates how he creatively adapts various fabrics to avoid using fur, leather, feathers, and other animal-derived materials. The video was filmed at the Rhode Island School of Design, which recently hosted a museum retrospective dedicated to his whimsical fashions. Oldham's tutorial debuted at America's top design school, Parsons School of Design, in February 2017 at a PETA-hosted panel discussion on sustainable vegan fashion that was moderated by the designer himself, as the school publicly announced the removal of its longtime fur program. On April 22, the Center for an Urban Future and the New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals (NYATEP) held a lunchtime forum, which examined what investments the state must make so that local workforce providers can effectively use newly available wage reporting data to improve their programs; presented successful case studies from states that are at the forefront of leveraging wage records for evaluation, such as Washington, Florida and Maryland; and ensured that New York, with the billions of dollars it spends every year on education and human capital programs, moves towards a more accountable workforce development system.

Joe Bob Briggs is an investigative reporter, essayist and actor who was born in Dallas, raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended Vanderbilt University on a sports-writing scholarship. Bloom began his writing career in Texas, earning two National Magazine Award nominations for his work with Texas Monthly. He was later fired from the Dallas Times-Herald for writing (as "Joe Bob Briggs") a parody of the then-popular song, "We Are The World". Joe Bob Briggs began his television career on The Movie Channel, hosting Joe Bob's Drive-In Theater (1987) for nine years. During this time, it became TMC's highest-rated show, earning two ACE award nominations. He currently hosts TNT's Monstervision (1993) on Saturday nights, and is at work on an autobiographical screenplay.

Wayne White is an American artist, art director, illustrator, puppeteer, and much, much more. Born and raised in Chattanooga, Wayne has used his memories of the South to create inspired works for film, television, and the fine art world. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Wayne traveled to New York City where he worked as an illustrator for the East Village Eye, New York Times, Raw Magazine, and the Village Voice. In 1986, Wayne became a designer for the hit television show Pee-wee’s Playhouse, and his work was awarded with three Emmys. After traveling to Los Angeles with his wife, Mimi Pond, Wayne continued to work in television and designed sets and characters for shows such as Shining Time Station, Beakman’s World, Riders In The Sky, and Bill & Willis. He also worked in the music video industry, winning Billboard and MTV Music Video Awards as an art director for seminal music videos including The Smashing Pumpkins' 'Tonight, Tonight' and Peter Gabriel's 'Big Time.'
In 2009, Wayne's life and career were chronicled in an incredible 382-page monograph, edited by Todd Oldham. The book features hundreds of images from Wayne's earliest work as an illustrator all the way to his most recent fine art sculptures. Since the book’s release, Wayne has been traveling the country delivering an incredibly entertaining hour long talk where he discusses his life and work, while making time for a little banjo and harmonica playing.
