Anurag Singh (born 9 September 1975) is a cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off spin bowler.
Singh was born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, but moved to England and attended King Edward's School, Birmingham where he played alongside Mark Wagh. He began his cricketing career at Warwickshire and represented England at U-19 level in 1994 and 1995 alongside players such as Marcus Trescothick, Michael Vaughan and Andrew Flintoff. Singh later attended the University of Cambridge and captained Cambridge University Cricket Club in 1997 and 1998, playing against opposing captain and friend Mark Wagh in the annual Oxford vs Cambridge varsity match at Lord's. He divided his time between them and Warwickshire and captained the British Universities cricket team during this period.
However, Singh struggled to live up to his initial promise, and having failed to establish himself at Warwickshire, he moved to Worcestershire in 2000 in search of new opportunities. In 2003, he was signed by Nottinghamshire as a replacement for Usman Afzaal. He was released by Nottinghamshire at the end of the 2006 season.

He has worked with mass peoples’ movements, including the Narmada Bachao Andolan,National Campaign for People's Right to Information, and Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan His most famous films are "Kaise Jeebo Re" (1997 – Narmada valley displacement), and "Right to Information" (1999 – Peoples’ demand for RTI, the landmark transparency legislation), which have been screened and won awards internationally.

His father Shyam Bahadur Namra was a noted poet and social reformer who worked extensively on education and tribal rights. Anurag's local wisdom and understanding are reflected in the themes and treatment of his films. Involved in photography, cinematography and filmmaking since 1984, Anurag directed his first film 'Manibeli' in 1989, and has since made more than half a dozen films including 'Battle For Peace', 'Kaise Jeebo Re' (How Do I Survive, My Friend), and 'Main Nahi Manga' (We Do Not Ask!). Anurag has also worked with Center for Development of Instructional Technology (CENDIT), an organization that pioneered using of audiovisual technology to communicate sociopolitical issues in India.

Anurag Singh (born 2 September 1966) is a renowned player of vichitra veena. He has received various awards, scholarships and junior fellowship in vichitra veena. He was born in the city of Amritsar, India to the Late Shri Brahm Sarup Singh. Anurag Singh belongs to the family of musicians. His father and his grandfather Late Shri Harnam Singh, were both renowned players of vichitra veena.
He has given numerous public concerts at Hissar, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Gujrat, Panchkula, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Lucknow, Jamshedpur and Patna.
Anurag Singh was trained in Vocal Classical music by his father. He later received training in sitar and further in vichitra veena. He did Sangeet Bhaskar (M. Mus) in Vocal Classical Music, Sangeet Visharad (B. Mus) in Vichitra Veena, Sangeet Visharad (B. Mus) in Sitar, Sangeet Bhushan (Senior Diploma) in Guitar and Sangeet Prabhakar (B. Mus) in Tabla. He was honored by Delhi Sanskrit Academy Award on 9 August 2014, for composing Sanskrit Shlokas and Qawwali.
