Achievement Hunter is a video gaming website and a division of Rooster Teeth Productions. Founded by Geoff Ramsey and Jack Pattillo on July 6, 2008, the website is largely based on the achievement mechanic found in seventh and eighth generation video game consoles. Since its founding, Achievement Hunter has grown to become a core component of Rooster Teeth, hosting a wide variety of videos related to video games. The most frequent videos are hosted by the six most prolific employees: Geoff Ramsey, Jack Pattillo, Gavin Free, Michael Jones, Ryan Haywood, and Jeremy Dooley.
Achievement Hunter has a large presence on YouTube – where it runs four different channels: Achievement Hunter, LetsPlay, GameFails and Achievement Hunter Community – garnering a combined total of 5.4 million subscribers and 1.4 billion video views.
In 2008, Geoff Ramsey's interest in gaming achievements resulted in the realization that no community-based website related to achievements existed. As a result, Ramsey approached Burnie Burns, then CEO of Rooster Teeth, about creating a website based on achievements; Burns agreed, and Ramsey created Achievement Hunter, which shares a similar design to the main Rooster Teeth website. Alongside employee Jack Pattillo, Ramsey regularly released achievement guides and Easter egg videos, often receiving assistance from select volunteers from the Rooster Teeth community. David Dreger also assisted in the founding of the site.
Rooster Teeth Productions is an American production company located in Austin, Texas; Flower Mound, Texas; and Los Angeles, California, involved primarily in the production of machinima (films created in real-time video game environments) with its long-running series Red vs. Blue, as well as live action shorts and series, comedy gameplay with the branch Achievement Hunter, and full animated productions such as RWBY and X-Ray and Vav. Rooster Teeth hosts its convention, RTX, annually in Austin, Texas and most recently Australia.
Rooster Teeth was founded by Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum, Geoff Ramsey, Gus Sorola, and Joel Heyman in 2003. Burns created voice-over-enhanced gameplay videos of Bungie Studios' popular first-person shooter video game Halo: Combat Evolved. Eventually, these videos led to the creation of Red vs. Blue, which premiered in April 2003 and is still in production, making it the longest-running web series of all time. The production team also focuses on projects such as reality shows, video game development, entertainment news programs and podcasts. Rooster Teeth released its feature film debut, Lazer Team, a science fiction action comedy film in 2016.

Game Grumps is a Let's Play webseries starring animator Arin Hanson and musician Leigh Daniel Avidan, also known as "Danny Sexbang," from the musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party. The show was created on July 10, 2012 by Hanson and comedic video game critic Jon "JonTron" Jafari. Jafari left the show in June 2013 to focus on his primary YouTube channel JonTron, and was subsequently replaced by Avidan. The channel also expanded to include new hosts in spin-offs: animator Ross O'Donovan, series editor Barry Kramer, and Suzy "Mortemer" Berhow, the group's manager and Hanson's wife. Additionally appearing in some, but few, episodes is the new primary editor of the show, Kevin Abernathy, as well as their newest member Brian "Ninja Brian" Wecht, the other half of Ninja Sex Party. Game Grumps was a part of Polaris, a network owned by Maker Studios, a subsidiary of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media division of The Walt Disney Company. They left the network in January of 2016.
The Slow Mo Guys is a science and technology entertainment web series created by Gavin Free, starring himself and Daniel Gruchy and produced by Rooster Teeth Productions. It has been described as the biggest channel for slow motion videos on YouTube.
The series consists of a wide variety of things filmed in extreme slow motion using a range of Vision Research Phantom high-speed cameras, capable of shooting over 170,000 frames per second. The series premiered on 3 November 2010. As of January 2016, their YouTube channel has over 7.2 million subscribers and over 800 million video views.
In 2006, Gavin Free joined Green Door Films, the first production house in Europe to utilize Phantom digital high-speed cameras as a source of slow motion, working as a Data Technician and Camera Operator. He began working on adverts, music videos, and films such as Hot Fuzz. In 2008, he was hired to direct the seventh season of the Rooster Teeth machinima series Red vs. Blue. Afterwards, he had decided to make a move to Austin, Texas and work full-time for Rooster Teeth. He then created The Slow Mo Guys along with friend Daniel Gruchy in order to get a work visa.

Kill your hate
Gotta reborn
Feed your faith
No more pain, no more
Let your soul
Fly away
Let it flow
In your veins
Cause the truth is in our hearts
Forget your flesh
Got to save your soul
You will find the truth
