One issue the Redskins want to avoid is tipping off their coverages. It's another reason why they're reluctant to have one corner isolated on a receiver. Add it to the reasons why they didn't have Josh Norman simply cover Antonio Brown Monday night. If Norman is lined up opposite Brown, it would signal man coverage and the Redskins like to mix up their looks. They could clearly do it more if they wanted, but it's among the reasons they're reluctant to do so, coach Jay Gruden said.

The Redskins did force a three-and-out and got the ball back at their 33-yard line. But, Gruden said, "it was a scoring opportunity squandered." Later, the Redskins failed to pick up a fourth-and-6 at the Steeler 38 trailing by a point. "Two bad decisions," Gruden said.
