The proposals published today by the commission are based on an electoral register with a two million gaping hole. By using the electoral register as of 1 December 2015 the review will discount the two million people who signed up to have their voices heard in the run-up to the EU referendum, therefore leaving them out of the constituency calculations.

The Women and Equalities Committee has this week published its third report since its establishment, on the issue of sexual harassment and sexual violence in schools. According to the research statistics, this is our widest-reaching report yet: a 2015 Girlguiding UK study found that 75% of girls and young women said anxiety about potentially experiencing sexual harassment affects their lives in some way.

started to question the origin of what we eat, we need to apply those same health self-care
principles to the clothes we wear, as the skin absorbs almost as much as the stomach does.

If a young woman has developed a coping strategy for street harassment, this means she needs one. I asked some female friends, and they all have them. They cross over roads when passing building sites, they take taxis to avoid bus stops, they fake phone calls, they wear headphones with no music on, they consider how likely street harassment is when choosing their clothes.

I chose theatre as my medium because it places the audience in a space where it is difficult to run away from uncomfortable truths. In theatre, in a ritualised way, for a short time we breathe the same air and inhabit the same space as the people who experience these tragedies. My intention is to present work that is provocative and transformative.

With the Olympics, every single sporting event was filmed by the host broadcaster and was available for audiences to watch. With the Paralympics, it has been a completely different story. There are currently no television cameras being used at all to record some sporting events including the rowing. As a result, Channel 4 resorted to sending their own camera crews out to the rowing venue so viewers in the UK could enjoy at least some sort of coverage. When a country can't even commit to providing cameras and live coverage of all sporting events, should they even be allowed to host the games?

The thing is, I don't want to vote against Jeremy Corbyn. He could be the path to generating the change our society so desperately needs... However, there are clearly problems with his tenure: there would not have been another leadership election this summer if that were not the case.

After weeks of teasing, Theresa May has finally revealed her plan for the educational reforms. At first glance, it seems clever and full of good intentions: poor kids to get an education previously reserved for the richer, feeder primary schools and university ties to smooth out the remaining corners. But it is a bad set of policies that, whether now in a few years' time, will inevitably fail.

I was 16 when I started experimenting with drugs and I used them as a form of escapism. I became addicted to substances like cocaine, amphetamines and ketamine and took them continuously for three years. During one binge I took a cocktail of cocaine, ketamine and ecstasy for three days straight and was terrified I was going to die.

For many young people, self-identifying themselves in an unfriendly atmosphere swirls them into a state of disarray. Places for them to go, meet similar people and to feel comfortable are still massively important. In schools and universities, LGBT clubs and societies exist as a good network. If you are gay and don't enjoy going to gay clubs, it can be really hard to meet other gay people...

Because the UK law is not adequate, thousands of surrogacies are taking place abroad in countries such as the US and Canada where the process is much more stable. However whilst their laws are stronger, this can have quite a financial burden on the intended parents (IP) and bring about their own set of challenges.

Mobile savvy Kenyans aren't nervous about technology; new technologies pop-up every day and Kenyans (mostly) accept them - from Uber to M-Kopa to Ushahidi. Ordinary Kenyans, even low income Kenyans, have a sense of what the world outside of Kenya can offer; they know that information is there and that it can help pull the country out of some of difficulties people are mired in now.
