The Melbourne International Film Festival is thrilled to once again be presenting the MIFF Travelling Showcase, hitting the road throughout Victoria in September and October 2016 with a series of weekend programs. Screening the MIFF Premiere Fund-supported films The Family (pictured), Ella and The Death and Life of Otto Bloom, as well as the international family film Long Way North, the MIFF Travelling Showcase, will visit Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Wangaratta, Mildura, Belgrave, Mansfield and Bairnsdale.
The results are in: the winners of the MIFF Audience Awards presented by Wander Victoria are My Life as a Courgette (Best Feature) and Zach's Ceremony (Best Documentary). Congratulations to all the winners – you can view the full Top 20 here.

During the festival, 2016 Critics Campus participant Doosie Morris interviewed Joe Cinque's Consolation director and MIFF guest Sotiris Dounoukos, discussing true crime, vulnerability, and community. The film world premiered at MIFF, and was one of the first to sell out both sessions.
