How to use this website
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario has set up this site to help Occasional Teachers like you.
Whatever your assignment or role as an occasional teacher this site can support you with resources, tips and tools, and classroom experiences. From a quick work sheet to a long-term plan, you’ll find it here.
ETFO is the bargaining union for elementary teachers in Ontario. But you don’t need to be a member to use this site.
You’ll find help, materials and advice under:
- Teaching your subjects: “Resources by Subject”
- Handling a class: “Classroom supports”
- Being a teaching professional: “A to Z of being an OT”
We hope to grow the site and its resources by adding contributions from Occasional Teachers in Ontario.
