FESTIVAL NEWS

In 2017 we will celebrate our fiftieth anniversary, featuring Circus Arts, National Heritage Fellows, and more to be announced. We hope you can come and share your own stories of five decades of cultural heritage on the National Mall.

Until then, our staff is also co-producing Freedom Sounds: A Community Celebration to honor the grand opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The latest in a series of our collaborations with the museum, this three-day festival highlights the social power of music in African American communities.

Join us September 23 to 25, 2016, on the grounds of the Washington Monument. The event is free and open to the public.
