Burns survivor Dana Vulin poses in crop top for Woman's Day spread

Perth woman Dana Vulin famously removed her compression mask in front of cameras on television a year after she was the victim of a vicious firebomb attack in her home. Now she reveals even more skin in a spread in Woman's Day magazine.

Ms Vulin, 29, suffered burns to more than two thirds of her body when Natalie Dimitrovska broke into her home on February 16, 2012, doused her with methylated spirits and set her alight.

Her injuries were so bad her chin fused to her chest.

Almost three years later, Ms Vulin has unveiled her rehabilitated body for a spread in Woman's Day.

Ms Vulin, posing confidently in a Running Bare pink sports crop top and blue running shorts, told the magazine she felt like a "modern-day Frankenstein", but had finally come to accept her body.

"I think it's unique and beautiful," she said.

She said the experience had made her stronger.

"I made the decision that I wanted to live as soon as I woke from my coma, because I was determined not to let evil win," she said.

Her attacker Dimitrovska was sentenced to 15 years in jail without parole.
