Tin and Ed x CCP tote bag

· Thursday July 21, 2016

Apparently there were more photos taken in 2015 than during the entire history of analogue photography. So, really, we've never been more in need of the expert curators who work at the Centre for Contemporary Photography. Someone's gotta sift through all those grainy selfies and blurry dog pics for the images that help us see the world differently.

Tin and Ed understand this better than most. They've been two of this city's most sought-after designers for over a decade because the can see the world differently and execute that vision. I mean look at this little chorizo dude they made recently:

Tin-and-ed-kabana

He's clearly got more personality than your standard chorizo dude. I want him to pour me shots from vodka he illegally imported the Balkans and tell me dirty jokes.

To celebrate CCP's 30th anniversary fundraiser exhibition Tin and Ed have worked together on a commemorative tote bag that's an ode to the light painters who exhibit at CCP. It features the swirling light of the milky way on one side. On the reverse, the dots on CCP's gallery walls are reinterpreted as bioluminescent mushrooms, fireflies, jelly fish, the city skyline, lightening, the eye, fire, a prism, a comet and, of course, our old pal the sun.
