A walking tour around the city of Paris France.
Paris, being my favorite city, was deserving of a longer film. I hope that this longer, yet 'small scratch of the surface' film of this magnificent city shall convince you to visit for yourselves and experience all that Paris has to offer first hand. Bon Voyage!

A glimpse of the city of Calgary Alberta during October of 2012. It's a great place to call home. Travel to Calgary now!
Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, with a metro population of 1.3 million people. It's Located around 80 km (50 mi) east of the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies.
Calgary has the most sunny days year round of Canada's 100 largest cities, with just over 332 days of sun. Calgary has a dry climate similar to other cities in the western Great Plains and Canadian Prairies.
Calgary has the warmest winters of all the major prairie cities in Canada. The climate is greatly influenced by the city's elevation and proximity to the Rocky Mountains. Calgary's winters are broken up by warm, dry Chinook winds that routinely blow into the city from over the mountains during the winter months. These winds are known to raise the winter temperature by 20 °C (36 °F), and as much as 30 °C (54 °F) in just a few hours, and may last several days.
The economy of Calgary includes activity in the energy, financial services, film and TV, transportation and logistics, technology, manufacturing, aerospace, health and wellness, retail, and tourism sectors. Calgary is home to the second-highest number of corporate head offices in Canada among the country's 800 largest corporations.
In 1988, Calgary became the first Canadian city to host the Olympic Winter Games.

We embarked on the Queen Mary 2 for a 7-day voyage from Southampton, UK to New York City. The Queen Mary 2 is a marvel of human engineering and design, and it was a fascinating trip.
In this short film I tried to show most of the places on the Queen Mary 2 where passengers can spend their time. When you see places without people, it's because I shot them very early or late, when most of my fellow passengers were sleeping or busy doing something else.

Opis (Akkadian Upî or Upija; Ancient Greek: Ὦπις) was an ancient Babylonian city near the Tigris, not far from modern Baghdad. Akkadian and Greek texts indicate that it was located on the east side of the Tigris, near the Diyala River. While the precise site of the city has been considered uncertain for a long time, recent geographical surveys of ancient Mesopotamia identify Opis with great probability as the mound called Tall al-Mujailāt (or Tulūl al-Mujaili`), 20 miles southeast in a straight line from central Baghdad and 47 miles northeast in a straight line from ancient Babylon.
History
Opis is mentioned for the first time at the beginning of second millennium BC. In the 14th century BC, it became the capital of an administrative region in Babylonia.
The Babylonians dug the "royal canal" between the Euphrates and the Tigris, which ended near Opis. The Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II (605-562 BC) built a long wall between the two rivers to protect against a potential Median invasion; the fortified line continued eastward beyond the Tigris and ended near Opis.

In this short film I tried to show most of the places on the Queen Mary 2 where passengers can spend their time. When you see places without people, it's because I shot them very early or late, when most of my fellow passengers were sleeping or busy doing something else.
