Espen Lind (born 13 May 1971) is a Norwegian record producer, songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is one half of the production team Espionage. Espen is also a mentor on the Norwegian version of The Voice.
Espen Lind released his first solo album, Mmm...Prepare To Be Swayed, in 1995 under the moniker, 'Sway'. Only released in Norway, it received mixed reviews and sold approximately 5,000 copies. His commercial breakthrough came in 1997 with the single "When Susannah Cries" which was a hit in several European and Latin American countries, including Norway where it was number one for six weeks. His second album Red went on to sell more than 100,000 copies in Norway, and 350,000 copies worldwide, earning Lind three Norwegian Grammy awards (Spellemannprisen) in 1998, including Artist of the Year.
2000 saw Lind releasing his third album, This Is Pop Music, and the singles "Black Sunday" and "Life Is Good". The album also contains a duet, "Where the Lost Ones Go," with Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø. The album reached gold status in Norway but was generally perceived to be a commercial disappointment compared to its predecessor. After a 3 year break Lind released a new single, "Unloved," in December 2004, followed by the album April, in January 2005.
The Life Is Good Company is a New England–based apparel and accessories wholesaler, retailer, and lifestyle brand founded in 1994 and best known for its optimistic T-shirts and hats, many of which feature a smiling stick figure named Jake and the registered trademark "Life is good."
In 1989 brothers Bert and John Jacobs designed their first T-shirts. They began selling their designs in the streets of Boston and out of an old van at colleges and street fairs along the East Coast of the United States. In 1994, following a not-so-successful road trip, they returned to Boston, unsure of the future of their business. It was their common practice to gather friends at their apartment following such trips to share stories and to ask their friends to comment on drawings and sayings posted on their living room walls. On this occasion, one drawing received considerable favorable attention from their friends — the head of a beret-wearing, smiling stick figure and the phrase "Life is good." The brothers named the character Jake and printed up 48 shirts bearing a smiling Jake and the words "Life is good." At a street fair in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the shirts sold out in less than an hour.{} The brothers began to sell T-shirts and hats featuring Jake in local stores. Demand for the merchandise grew quickly, as did national recognition of the brand.

Life Is Good is the second and final album released by the American pop group LFO in 2001 under J Records. It reached #75 on the Billboard 200.
The album met limited success when compared to the group's 1999 self-titled release. The only compact disc single released was "Life Is Good", despite the fact that "Every Other Time" achieved more popularity and radio air time. The song "6 Minutes" was later covered by the American pop rock band Jonas Brothers on their 2006 release It's About Time.
She understands the way you feel
She knows about the things you’re hiding
As long as she is there for you
You will know how to live
You hear footsteps on the floor
You see the world in better colours
And nothing tastes the same no more
Now that you know how to live
You’re happy to feel
Happy to stay
Happy to drive in to work every day
No one can break it, or take it away
Cos you have found your way
So this is where it’s taken you
So many years it took you to get there
And all the things you’ve had to do
Just to learn how to live
You’re happy to feel
Happy to stay
Happy to drive in to work every day
No one can break it, or take it away
Cos you have found your way
Cos she has saved you
And she has made you
Yeah she has been the one that you can lean on
No indecision
No blurry vision
And no one ever made you see so far
You’re happy to feel
Happy to stay
Happy to drive in to work every day
No one can break it, or take it away
