HYUNDAI MOTOR COMPANY AUSTRALIA

Hyundai, a global industrial manufacturing colossus, began as a South Korean construction firm in 1947, building its first cars twenty years later.

Its rapid growth and market acceptance has seen Hyundai Motor Company, which includes Kia, overtake Ford to be now the fourth largest vehicle manufacturer in the world.

In Australia, Hyundai holds around ten percent of the market, battling with Mazda for second spot on the sales podium behind Toyota. Hyundai's Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs are widely accepted for their comfort, features and reliability, as is the small i20, the top-selling i30, Accent and Elantra, and the larger i40 and Sonata. The iLoad and iMax, and sporty Veloster are also well-accepted by Australian buyers.
